Obviously as a side project of people with other priorities and jobs, the quality of the visuals didn't bother me too much that they were bad, but the dialogue was god-awful and the Link actor wasn't that great and spoke with a horrible British accent.

I think Zelda would make a better anime. I know there was an animated series (but it was crap).

Think about it, with all the dungeons, it'd be boring to watch him go through all of them within the space of 2:30 hours, not leaving time for characters to be developed properly, or the opposite, all characters, no dungeons.

A series, with each episode leading on to the next, like dragon ball Z etc. That would capture the epic long journey properly. Characters, action and the feeling of a quest.

Not bad, but won't be an actual movie. I think all of their budget went in to this trailer.In all honesty, I don't think the Zelda genre could be turned to a movie, it might not be able to be filmed. A live action final fantasy movie I rather not see comming either. The game movies that -did- get put on the big screen like Tekken, mortal combat and street fighter were nothing I loved. Max Payne and Silent Hill were painful to watch.

I -love- zelda games, and I think they should remain games.

Reasons why, if this trailer was indeed real, it wouldn't work.

1. That Link looks too old.

2. That Zelda looks too old and too ugly.

3. That Link would look ridiculous doing any of the things the real Link does.

4. A big part of Legend of Zelda is the dungeons, bosses, fights, etc. The movie would be too long and boring, unless they thickened out a plot and thinned out the battles.

5. Only a hardcore fan with a vision would know what the fans want.
