Only in America can you get ridiculed no matter what race you are, for wearing certain clothes. Metal heads have always worn baggy clothes, camo pants, stocking caps, cut off shirts, and boots. Black people just happened to start wearing what we did. Metal heads wore Timberlands because they had to WORK in them, where as black people wore them for style. A look doesn't make you good unless you're slipknot. Be a little more open minded about shit.

To continue what Tyler said, in America we associate appearance with music a lot. In Japan, most people just wear whatever and play metal. We seem to think you have to have long hair, combat boots, and a Morbid Angel shirt to look like a death metal band. Not always the case. Fashion is an secondary to the music but we think it's the other way around sometimes. To put it simply, I think these guys are a good slam death band regardless of their wardrobe.

I personally never liked the term wigger slam just cuz the majority of shit I like is stuff with a groove. Slam has some sick groove whether its stuff like this or stuff like dying fetus. I prefer stuff like this just because I can listen to it and bang my head thru the majority of it where as the other stuff is a bit more technical and I can appreciate it from a musician's stand point. My point is, wigger slam is just something that close minded people started calling the new slammy style.
