rpk is an mg desinged from ak 47 just with faster muzzle velocity and a drum magazine,they both use same caliber and they both have around 700 to 800 rounds per minute

You recommend to get an AK, but you're sort of missing the point of the MG.

MG's have better spray accuracy than the AK-47, so spraying & praying at enemies will kill them a lot faster than with an AK, believe it or not. Also, MG's make the person at which you're shooting at recoil like crazy, so most of their shots miss you. Their reticule will be flying all around because your bullets have insane knockback.

That's why people use MG's. :O

That's only with the right MG though. Personally, I think the K3 is terrible. The MINI-ME is nice, as is the mk .48, but eh M60 is probably best due to extremely low recoil for an MG, amazing spray accuracy (for CQC, which is what they're basically intended for in this game, because suppressive fire is basically ignored :/), and high enough damage/knockback to keep your enemies off of you for long periods of time.

Death room + an MG = an easy 3-4.0 KDR for that match.

when I brought out my MK.48 I had 2 guys with me who were friends and I told them to stay close.

I sat and began to open fire on 2 snipers and were hitting them everytime they came close to the cave system in snow valley. I began recoil control and started to wipe them out.

67 rds later and 3 kills earlier, I watched 4 more bravo's come out of thier cave and begin thier assault.

I told my 2 guys to move in and I would cover them using 7-10 rd bursts.

OH YEAH. I spaced out on another thing. MG's are popular also because of their insane clip size & total ammo. When you're on a massive kill streak and you don't have time to hide and reload, you sort of just... lay down and accept your punishment. When you have an MG, you just keep on truckin' until they're all dead. When they start respawning, you should be long gone.

I had a guy who suggested I get an Ak, I said no, I will buy an M-14 because i have never killed with any thing else ecept an M-14.
