i have a shorty and was at loveday 4x4 adventure park in SA and nearlly rolled that twice on steep rocky hill climbs, had the front two wheels about 1.5m off the ground at rone stage, but she helld her own in the mud pits :) good car, have you thought aboput lengthening the axles to make it more stable with yur lift and and wider rubber?
Dunno about being a shorty, I think this was more caused by being an auto, not enough throttle control means you have to give it a little to get it to go and in this case it was that little too much, probably wouldn't have rolled without that little extra momentum
@channelperth agree there you can see he freaked and buttoned off if he had kept going there a good chance that wouldnt of happened constant pace is good
Short wheelbase and long wheelbase it tipped sideways just the angle stuff happens. some places long wheelbase works best some short both have trade offs. Real nice nissan I hope you fixed it back up after it tipped over even if it was just for the trails.

roof collapsed in the front centre because it had a sunroof. Used the hi-lift to pull it back up. n had to front window and have to drive from glasshouse mountains to brisbane southside (about 95km) with no window.
i have removed all the useless posts commented about this video. please do not post what the driver should or shouldnt have done. and i dont want any posts how nissan are crap and toyota are better or i will delete them.
As for questions, the driver and passenger are fine, just some cuts and bruises, but the driver ended up with a staf infection from glass being still in his leg. The car still drove and the engine is fine. Everything was transfered to a GQ wagon, and now a GQ coil cab ute.
holy shit

agree with you there. also, an auto with no brake on rolls forward so with a manual it would have rolled back instead of pausing in the rut.

Regarding seatbelts, although it is dangerous not to wear them, this case would have resulted in head injuries due to roof collapsing.
