i go to pilipinas alot ...if kids come and ask for money and u offer them food they will most likely say no  to the food ..thye want the money because there is an adult or adults waiting somewhere to collect all the money that is collected by thier "group "of kids that they send out onto the streets

The government should allow adoption of these children, a fund from national and international sources should be made, the biologic parents should never be allowed to meet these children again, especially in the cases of abuse or using them for their own benefit. These trash people should be sterilized, they don't have the right to give birth to these innocent creatures and exploit or abandon them. These parents should stay in jail in the same place with criminals.

The problem is not poverty but religion, specifically Catholocism, which dominates the Philippines and prohibits birth control. Eight children is the norm there. So many children would drive any family into poverty, including the USA. Family size correspondingly dropped in the West as science and reason gained ascendancy, and individual well-being increased apace. Wherever superstition reigns there is poverty. Get rid of the lying smiley-faced priests and lives will improve.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to eradicate poverty. I'm from the Bicol Region and I am a member of Street Children Catholic Organization Inc, in my city. We help rescue orphans of the streets and try our best to provide education and training to these children and the communities; we also provide them health care and well being; we aim to sustain their humanitarian rights and we also try to bring women in the workforce to help them generate income. They are cooperative, but not all...

There are over thousands of Filipino street children who are orphans, they all come from abusive family, poverty, and lack the simple necessities of life. Many of them live on the street and prowl the street at night; trying to survive another day. Without the love, care, and simple necessities of life, these children will only grow up to be uneducated and non social adults.
