I'm sure ur cutting way is working for you but your supposed to razor it from the front of the hair not the inside/back because then all ur short hairs are going to b under ur long hairs which will b weird.. you want the short hairs to b in the front of the bangs not behind lol just a tip

@Bunnyeatstomato If you go to a beauty/hair supply store, they sell special scissors to cut your hair. I would not recommend using normal scissors because if they are dull, they can damage your hair >_<

- JUST a little advice . for people who are going to try this . when u are point cutting ur layers . u wanna do small cuts so u dont accidently cut at TO much off . & then your layers on one side are shorter on one side & longer on the other . & u wana make sure when u cut from an angle . you cut in an angle . not a somewhat slant . the shape will be hard to REDO on the other side . :)

They will give you split ends. It would help a bit if you wet y our hair but make sure you watch the length because the wetness will cause the hair to look longer then it is short.

Hi, this was a really helpful video. Trimming my hair myself is going to save me a couple of bucks. Your hair is beautiful. Do you use any shampoo/conditioner in particular to keep it like that? Or any other prodcucts to keep it that healthy? Or is the trimming constantly what helps the most?

I recommend the Redken Extreme shampoo & conditioner for color treated hair & for non-color treated hair, use the Dove Damage therapy intensive repair shampoo & conditioner or any Pantene Provene shampoo. I love the Tresemme Heat protectant and It's a 10 :)
