  • hey assfuck my uncle was the ref on this game take this off immediately the game was 3 years ago

  • @moconnell237 then he sucked if the was your uncle

  • @Tweetertime fuck up tweetertime you probably never touched a basketball in your life the only balls you touch are your own because you cant get a bitch to do that PUSSY

  • @moconnell237 dude calm the fuck down im making a comment. im not saying hes a fuck up im saying that should of been a call i didn't mean like he sucks at ref. seriously calm down

  • who cares? A&M sucks anyway

  • @5ellers Jealousy is a stinky cologne; you might want to rid of it.

  • @metallicarox80s ya, I'm really jealous of a school that's never relevant in any major sport.

Oh that's right, atleast they have the Women's Basketball championship.

  • @5ellers Cool story, Hansel. 6th Place in last year's Director's Cup (overall sports) says otherwise. And that was with a mediocre football team.

    -

With an improved football team & another national championship picked up over the weekend, A&M will no doubt place higher in the ranking of the nation's top overall athletic programs this year. A&M made the post season in ~*every single sport.*~ You're probably a "football only" jerk, but our baseball team's also #5 now.

    -

    Stats > ignorance

  • @metallicarox80s You do realize how many times Texas has been to Omaha and how many times the aggys have been rite?

  • @mrtx09 You do realize that you cannot spell, right? You do realize that I am referring to the present, as in the most recent years of athletics? Go ahead & keep dusting off the old record books.

  • How to these refs sleep at night?

  • Annarborbon.....it wasnt a comeback genius, and you dont seem to understand the rules, hence why you haven't a clue. What happened is called a hack, like you yourself are. You dont have to officiate any game to know the rules and that you dont know what youre talking about. You were probably crying too after the no foul at the end of regulation against kansas this year too. Good luck making the NIT again btw.

  • Amazes me that we just got a taste of our own medicine. Same thing happened to us against Kansas last night. There was no foul (at least I thought there wasn't). But I can't do anything but keep my head up and look forward to a good season.

  • annarborborn....get a clue dude. You have no idea what your talking about

  • @kingkroop Great comeback. That is why there was not a foul called, but I have not clue. Man, why not get some real hair on your chest and officiate any game at any level then talk to me about what I do not have a clue about. You do not call fouls based on a picture. You call fouls based on what happen and unless you have a rules reference, then we will see what clue I do not have.

  • We all know that the refs swallow their whistles in the final few seconds, the only calls they'll make are blatently obvious ones. It was a foul, i agree, but the refs cannot use instant replay or freeze frame the contact to see Josh Shipps hand on his wrist. And also, who is to say that he would make those 2 freethrows?... I can almost guarantee that he would miss one. This single play did not cost Texas A&M the game, and he was out of control.

  • @flipmex1 Donald Sload was one of A&M's best free throw shooters in his last two years. I think he was a sophomore at the time so I dont really remember. I do think it should have been called a foul though. He went through the lane, nobody got in front, they all reached.. Nobody moved their feet. It looked like a foul when I was watching.

  • @32JSE Feel free to comment and argue about the call or non-call. That's why this video has been posted.

Please keep it clean. Vulgar comments will be deleted.

    Thank You

  • Doesn't look like a foul to me.

  • One of the worst no-calls in NCAA tournament history as said on SportsCenter that next morning.

  • Well with that in the past all I can say is current record TAMU 17-6, UCLA 11-12 ... looks like one team made progress while the other got worst...

  • @supernovasky

Last year we were victims of our own success. How many under grads have left TAMU for the NBA? What do you think our record would have been if the NBA had a minimum age limit of 20 or 21 for rookies. Can you saw undefeated. Can you say National Champions. Well being from TAMU you probably don,t understand the meaning of those words. U C L A.....Fight Fight Fight

  • Easy call to make you freeze frame the action. Check the post that shows this play at full speed. big difference. At full speed it looks like a good block. Get over it. UCLA Fight Fight Fight!!!!!

  • Good look fighting your way to a possible CBI bid if your lucky

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMfreeze I saw it at full speed! I watched it live. I could tell it was a mugging then. And I love how so many UCLA fans have to come back and watch this video again and again to try convince themselves that it was a "hard call" for a seasoned ref, that has been trained to see hard calls like palming. A dual foul like this should have been as plain as day to them.

  • @MrMfreeze

its not a clean blocked shot when you dont touch the ball.

    -

He was mugged... twice!, and the freeze frame show it clear as day.

  • @slwdsm

How do you know he did not touch the ball? You cannot take a picture and then us that as a guage alone. Because if he contacted the ball first, then it is nothing after that. Isn't that what everyone yells when they say "all ball." Most of those plays involve contact of some kind. I would like to see several pictures right before that then determine. But this is why you do not officiate with still pictures.

  • @Annarborborn are you an idiot? you cant make contact with the ball and then hack a guys arm and it not be a foul. A hack is a hack. They say all ball because the defender hits nothing but the ball, meaning its not a foul. They dont say "mostly ball"! Fukkin idiot

  • @mhendo92 Hey dumbass (since we are calling each other names now), if the ball was touched first, then it is expected to have some other type of incidental contact (which is an actual rule, not something I made up like your term). Also what the heck is a "hack" as you will find no language in any rulebook? But then again that means you would have to have the ability to read and not just be a fanboy.

  • come on texans, the refs swallow their whistles in the last seconds, i know u guys know this. Of course when u freeze frame the play theres gonna be a little arm in the oicture, refs call mostly from sound, especially from a play that happens that fast. There was enough time for sloan to pass the ball to an open shooter anyways so stop your crying....UCLA FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!

  • the only reason we get upset is that we got in a similar situation the previous year against memphis, but it was the other way around (with a late call against us). oh, and the our block was clean... so yeah. unfortunately i can't find a pic or clip, but i really have no reason to make this up.

  • god refs suck

  • sloan was the best free-throw shooter in the Big XII then, and in the Top 10 on the country if he made both of those A&M hasn't lost a March Madness Overtime since the 1990s so we got screwed

  • as much as i would have loved my aggies to have moved on we cant blame that one call we went like 10 minutes without scoring a point but i do believe it was a missed call

  • well, it was a missed call, but don't act like it was obvious in live action. No one could see that play clearly without the freeze frames. Besides, even if they called it, that doesn't mean AM would have hit both ft's got a stop at the other end and then pulled it out in OT.

  • I know some people, even non-A&M fans, that thought it was a foul without seeing the freeze frames.

  • wait. was the defenders hand on the shooters wrist? i couldnt tell. i think you need to do more freeze frames and slow motion shots cuz 8 of each wasnt enough

  • Just another reason to hate UCLA. They were handed 3 wins in 2008, that they didn't deserve. The refs couldn't help them when Memphis smoked their fuckin' ass.

Hey UCLA fans, maybe, you can dig up Sam Gilbert and he can buy you another championship.

  • RAPED!

  • A&M's starting five next year is gonna be pimpin!

  • Had this game not been played Anaheim I think A&M would have got the call. But when you are practically playing a road game you are up against a wall.

  • Well fucla is getting smashed by nova and the aggies get another shot at a #1.

    :)

  • it wasn't so much the last call that pissed me off. k love was hacking away at jones the last five minutes of the game with NO calls, and if he so much as breathed on love or looked at him the wrong way they blew the whistle. a&m would have won that game by at least 7or 8 points had the refs been fair the last five mins.

  • a&m would have won if it was called i think

  • @darkfire42590 You think, but you don't know.

  • I'm so glad UCLA didn't win the championship after that. They're gonna get bounced before the sweet 16 this year.

  • he got mugged

  • Yeah this was a load of Bull. Bilas said it was the worst no call in NCAA tourney history. We got another thing comin'. Gig 'em

  • Man I really hope this crap doesn't happen again this year! Gig 'em Aggies!

  • ESPN said that this was the WORST NO-CALL of the season. Not surprising...

  • i cant even watch this anymore, makes me so sick. fucla.

  • look see sloan could have passed to jones to tie it and if they would've called the foul sloan could have hit both free throws and a&m would have won 53-51

  • terrible no call, shouldnt have come to that A&M holds UCLA to 51 NOT 53 Points and losses. not sure what A&M's free throw numbers were in that game. Also there was no guarentee sloan makes the free throws. However, you cant miss a call like that. Sloan was under Control when he was shooting the ball therefore he should have had a foul called and been on the line. If hes out of control on the shot hes not getting that call.

  • a&m should have deserved overtime

  • 0:14

    wow lol

  • Had to be done to insure a shitty west coast team made the final four. Just like how they were given a 1 seed. Regular bullshit.

  • I agree that human error happens, but an entire season shouldn't be ended for a team due to a blatant missed call. It was beyond obvious that he was fouled. Overtime would have at least been a fair determination of who was the better team.

  • wow you are really nice

  • that was a foul

just like when the lakers robbed the spurs in game 4 of the west finals

  • double foul there !!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn i was so pissed off that night tha Aggies were leadin the whole game....it should've never came down to that...God i hate UCLA

  • its a foul ucla got all of those last minute calls this year it made me sick

  • that was a foul and its clear as day. but its in the past we have a good class coming in and have the distraction of jordan gone. gigem

  • Anyone that says that was not a foul is living in a dream world

  • robbed? hardly. HAd a foul been called the free throws would have pushed it to overtime.

Prior to this Aggie possession Daren Collision hit a clutch runner to give ucla the lead. Kudos.

Also, in the final possession of a basketball game a lot of refs shy away from calling fouls. shitty? yes. but in this high paced game of basketball human error plays into what happens in games.

Trust me, there were pleanty of bad calls/no calls made in this game against both teams.

  • Yes robbed. Aggies had the momentum too.

  • yeah it was def a foul but what can you do

  • The ref's need to get there act together man, not just this game but all the rest of them. I'm a AGGIE fan, and I didn't think A&M was gonna stay in it but it made me mad anyways because I thought he should went for the win not the tie

  • A win in typical UCLA fashion: Stealing one with the help of the referees. Like TopDog said, note the Cal and Stanford games this year, which should have resulted in two straight losses for UCLA and probably would've taken away their one seed, which they clearly needed to get as far as they did.

  • ...dumbass refs

  • Hey we all know that UCLA got alot of calls at the end of the year. Trust me Cal, Stanford and a couple other teams would all make the same argument.

  • To hell with UCLA and the refs. everybody knows the truth about the game. even ucla fans.

  • this game made me sick..

im a die hard aggie fan....but i gotta say that we had a 10 point lead at one time in this game

we should of kept up the intensity and we didnt, we let them come back..

or course it was a foul but the fact of the matter is that there is no excuse..we lost the game.

  • A smart objective fan!

  • true we should ve but its hard to make shots getting mugged the whole game

  • u couldnt be more wrong overtime anything can happen the fact is no call no win .the excuse is we lost because of a no call it's hard to keep intensity at a number 1s home.

  • i know the saying dont let one call decide the whole game..but this was so damn obvious and its not a pre-season game they were playing they had to make that call. its a shame.

  • maybe we dont have so many national titles because we dont CHEAT FOR THEM

  • well not surprised they win hence this video showing they get calls for them

  • All quiet on the Western front now, eh?

    fUCLA.

  • o big ucla got owned

  • o well memphis will kill them uclas popular so they wouldnt get it called against them but this time its evend out i expect a soon 2 be slaughter this game or championship

  • wow brew343812 how can you not see the foul on tht play and what game were you watching? ucla got all of the calls and besides a&m has other sports to worry about cuz they're good at other sports besides basketball

  • fuck ucla, the refs cheat for them, just like they did against stanford, cal, and texas a&m

  • it doesnt get any more obvious and brew34381 no UCLA GOT AWAY WITH A TON I RECALL BALL GOING OFF A GUYS FOOT AND EVEN ANNOUNCERS SAYING IT SHOULD BE AGGIES BALL OFFICIALS RULED IT OTHERWISE. I HAVE GAME ON MY TVO I VE WATCHED IT ALOT AND I CAN SAY UCLA GOT LUCKY NOT TO MENTION WE R PLAYING UCLAS HOME

  • fact is ucla won uclas a good team but face it no credit was given to A&M a team not based on basketball like UCLA. I believe we held lead majority of game and only reason UCLA was in it cuz 1 guy hit like 5 3s cool but u can't deny that end plays a foul. Both teams got away with stuff it's just the majority and game changing fouls werent called making A&M lose. U HAVE TO BE BLIND TO NOT C THAT FOUL

  • from her profile: "i'll argue about pretty much anything if you start with me"

No matter if you have no leg to stand on huh. Give this one up Krysta. You're out of your element here. You clearly got owned and need to go back to discussing what you know. Jonas Brothers and the Disney Channel. Leave basketball to us.

Dont bother the grownups when they are talking, child.

  • Uh, you started this. Did you forget or something?

You also forgot "unless I have no opinion on the subject." Did you learn to read when you were in school?

If I were worried about what you or anyone else thought about JB and Disney, why would I even post it? Nice try, boy.

    What else have you got?

  • oh, and ixluvxmcr, go ahead make fun of UCLA all you want. Although, I dont really know what you'd have to say since UCLA is superior to UNC in academics, athletics, location, weather, and as a bonus, we actually have good-looking girls here. And i'm gonna guess that you are one of many that contribute to the never-ending parade of ugly women that i see at unc, texas a&m, and whatever other hicktown you want to defend. So yes, make fun of UCLA. like a one-armed midget makes fun of... anyone

  • The only thing you got right in that rant was about the weather.

Have you got anything relevant for me or do you want to continue proving yourself to be a typical bandwagon fan whose only defense is to try to insult people?

  • Nope, obviously not. I'm glad you get it.

  • first of all, no one call decides a game. there were probably more than a dozen non-calls during the ENTIRE GAME by BOTH SIDES. This is the only one that gets any attention because it was the last play.

  • This is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE non-call...for cripes, sake the guy was holding his forearm and the other one was holding his elbow!!!...im not a fan of either team but this is outright favoritism and/or game fixing...UCLA fans, you deny this, your sad.

  • you all wish you could get into UCLA

go make me a burger, ill let you know when my company is hiring and we need a cleaning service

  • Thanks for that laugh.

Can I get fries with that please? Make it snappy.

    Sad, sad UCLA.

  • people from texas know how to use computers?

  • BTW, GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!

D-Rose, CDR and company will destroy UCLA

  • nice, very true

  • Unlike California, we show unity in the state. Aggies were rooting for the Horns in the Rose Bowl, hell, even aggies were in the stadium wearing GIG EM HORNS T-shirts. Do I see UCLA doing that for USC?

  • yes. i know alot of ucla fans who root for usc to represent the pac10. just cuz you dont live here and dont see it on tv doesnt mean no one does it

  • yes, they deserve to ref and yes, ucla deserves to advance. i hate this no call bc i was rooting for the whole region to be upset and leave only xavier, but it happens. a lot

  • Oh to stevehwan, please keep passing that info along to everyone. Cuz I'm sick of Californians moving to Texas in droves and causing more crime and pushing the housing market sky high. We are infested with Californians here like cockroaches. It has been going on for 20 years now. I wish they would all go back to "great" California and leave Texas to real Texans.

  • The refs also tried to give the USC/Texas nat'l championship football game to USC. But UT was just to good even for the refs. Get used to it. The media is in California and inferior Calif teams will get every call. You just have to realize that even college sports are "fixed." I am a UT fan but A&M was clearly the better team and was cheated.

  • are you serious??

im not a USC or UCLA fan

but do you seriously believe that USC had the refs in that game???

How bout Vince Youngs knee on the ground on one of their touchdowns pitches.

  • texas blows. no one wants to live there, a place full of so many fatasses that it's difficult to recognize the difference between a real cow and a texan. the only thing texas has is barns, bbq, and cactuses.

  • and where are you from? Lemme guess, Cali?

  • lemme guess yall yall

  • all california has is faggots, hippies, and scientologists

  • they cant compare to Texas, at least we dont have to worry about earthquakes here in the LONE STAR STATE. Nor do we have the gayest city in the US. Theyre just mad cause of UT vs USC. 41-38 Two Heismans lost to one guy in Vince Young, how fucking sad.

  • So that's why you moved there...how is San Francisco this time of year?

    :)

  • So that's why you moved there...how is San Francisco this time of year?

    :)

  • it should have been a foul but ucla still would have won in overtime

  • As a fellow Longhorn, that was the most BS call I've ever seen. DONT MESS WITH TEXAS

  • LOL!!!

This video is hilarious. Thanks to the person who posted it. Tell you what though, if you will post a video that shows video and pictures of every foul called during the game, and video and pictures for all the non calls, then I will be willing to discuss whether or not A&M got screwed.

Even if the foul was called at the end, they would have had to make both FTs, stop UCLA from scoring at the end, and then win in OT. HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

  • This "lack of call" was a total piece of horse crap.. i mean i cant even find the words for this hack, he grabbed his wrist and totally fouled him, its bc big bad UCLA was playing A&M which is not known for basketball

  • while you're at it, why dont you type in ucla a&m the truth revealed. and watch that video. then you can whine to me about no calls. unless of course you're an ignorant idiot who thinks that only the no-call at the end of the game counts, not the other bad calls before that.

are you ready to concede that you are that type of idiot?

  • There were bad calls on both sides. I'm guessing your one and only example of a BS call on UCLA would involve Collison, right? Been there, heard that. Next!

Right now it seems that you're the one whining- about calls in a game that your team "won." Now then, are you ready to concede that you're a whiny hypocrite or do you want to stick with calling me an idiot just because you can't argue with me? Pick your poison.

  • NO ONE here is whining about non-calls against UCLA. simply stating a fact that many calls are missed throughout the entire game. (one of them being that foul on sloan). You would understand that if you were the least bit educated. However, you claim youre not a fan of either side. So go and make fun of UCLA if you want. I'm guessing you're just a loser texas townie with limited education and sadly, no team to cheer for in the tourney.

  • A lack of education is not a factor in this. I know plenty of idiots who know a lot about basketball. Me? I'm a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, and I was born in North Carolina. So take a guess who I cheer for, I'll wait.

I know a fair amount about basketball. You can sit at your computer whining(which you are)about ALL the bad calls/no-calls, I don't care. Play-by-play, point-by-point is how the game is won. The foul wasn't called, UCLA "won." Now I will continue to make fun of UCLA. Thank you.

  • ohh, ixluvxmcr. it's some chick trying to pretend she knows anything about basketball. i see now. i should've checked the profile sooner. silly me. arguing with some emo girl about basketball. wow. i'm surprised that you've confused my gloating with whining. Seeing as how you're the expert in that. What would I have to whine about, I wonder? WE WON THE GAME. Haha. So not only are you lacking an in-depth knowledge of sports, but common sense as well. Typical girl.

  • Emo chick? That explains it: you're a label-whore. Wow, I didn't realize I was dealing with some shallow prick who has to resort to sexist remarks to defend his poor baby self. Let me guess, you spend your weekends making out with an inflatable doll, trying to figure out how you can get people to pay attention to you? You are a sad little boy. How'd you like those labels? It all makes sense now haha. Tell me, were you beaten up by girls when you were little?

  • yeah, ixluvxmcr. i feel sooo ashamed to be a bruin fan. haha. yeah, cuz as a bruin fan, i have complete control over a call that a ref did or didnt make in the .3 seconds they have to decide whether or not to blow the whistle. i am so ashamed.

so shamed in fact that when i look back 10 years from now on that 12th national championship banner that we're gonna hang at pauley pavillion, all i'll be thinking about is the one noncall against A&M. that's what the world will remember too im sure.

  • Having seen UCLA struggle against practically every team they've played in the tourney, I wouldn't count my banners just yet if I were you. And when I said fans, I was talking about UCLA fans who chalk that win up to "stingy defense and great offense, blah blah blah." I'm sensing you are one of those fans. What a shame.

  • everybody knows UCLA got breaks at CAL and Stanford games. but it is also true in history that good teams always get the benefit of the doubt(i'm not saying it's just, but refs are only humans). Now that A&M proved how good they can be, maybe they can catch such breaks next year too.

  • That is such a lame excuse.

The refs are paid to officiate a game as fairly as possible. They failed. End of story.

  • granted the ref's missed the call. is it really fair to say aggies are 'robbed' of the game? what about aggies letting UCLA come back to take the lead? what about Collison and Love's clutch shots? of course it was a foul that was not called but really~ is that the only reason aggies lost? I guess it is good that it was not called for the psyche of those small number of A&M fans who will always have something to blame for their loss.

  • Again, I don't support either team. Sure, UCLA caught up. I couldn't believe they let the Aggies own them like that for over half the game. It was a physical game on both sides, but I'm betting A&M got tired and couldn't hold UCLA off as well. Still, the refs fucked up big time, once again. The rest of the game didn't matter. A&M had 2 free throws coming, but Sloan was robbed(yes)of those shots. The win or loss would have DEPENDED on those 2 shots. Thanks to the refs, though, it didn't.

  • And it doesn't matter if Sloan would have missed both free throws. They didn't get a chance and no one can predict whether he got them or not anyway. I'd be feeling pretty ashamed right now if I were a UCLA fan. That was bull.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again: There is NO need for a freeze-frame to prove that was a foul on UCLA. The refs don't get the chance to look at one to decide, but they don't need one! Anyone with EYES could see that was a foul the second it happened. I don't support either team, but the Aggies were robbed, plain and simple. And it's not like this is the first time- it happened against Cal and Stanford too. Three different times? That's too much of a coincedence.

  • Ur taking this to serious, calm down. A referee cant stop the image and turn it around to see if it was a foul -> they have to make a decision anyway

  • photoshop: back and side views don't match. first of all, from the point of view facing sloan's back, there is a space between collison's hand and sloan's arm. you faked the side view, making it look like collison fouled sloan. second of all, in the side view, it is clear that ship's hand should be at least partially blocked by the ball if one were to look at it from the back view. you, however, faked the back view, making ship's entire hand visible, and making it look like he fouled sloan.

  • uh yeah except the side view was taken a split second after the backview

    this vid is legit

  • So you're saying ESPN and every other magazine, website, and newspaper photoshopped the picture, too? Because they're all exactly the same. I hope you're joking, because if you're not, that doesn't say too much for your intelligence.

  • photoshopped

  • im pretty neutral on this whole subject (UF fan) and i can tell you those weren't photoshopped by 5DecadeHawk... those pics were on espn and in the paper, they're legit... plus watch the replay if you don't believe the pictures. it's clear either way

  • bullshit. anyone who watched that game saw Love get away with murder. I can only imagine had that same play happened to Collison down 2 to lose the game what would have happened. My Ags still should have won and protected the lead and made FTs but you can't say they didn't get robbed.

  • i just realized something, even if sloan had gotten off a clean shot, love would have been there to swat it away, so I guess either way texas a&m loses, regardless of foul or no foul

  • love cannot jump that high...it would have been on the way down which everyone knows is a violation...besides sloan would SHOULD have gone to the foul line...im not sayin he would make them but at least give him the shots he earned

  • love cannot jump that high...it would have been on the way down which everyone knows is a violation...besides sloan would SHOULD have gone to the foul line...im not sayin he would make them but at least give him the shots he earned

  • there's more crying in here than a gerber and a huggies commercial combined. get over it A&M fans. you got the lousy end of a non-call. the truth is, UCLA was playing a 'home game' which we earned by being number 1 in the west all year. we got a little "home cookin'" so what. it happens in almost every game. maybe not always on the last shot. but it happens. so quit crying. take it for what it is. and go watch from the sidelines as UCLA takes this one all the way. Go Bruins.

  • the Bruins "earned" that by beating Cal and Stanford fair and square ... right?

  • okay it was a bad call ... everyone knows that ... but the funny thing is, the ref on the baseline higgins is moving on to the sweet 16 while the other two refs oconnell and kersey are sitting home watching the games. the call was clearly the baseline refs call, and now hes moving on

  • My favorite example of UCLA cheating the opposing team is the Cal game two weeks ago. That was my personal favorite.

  • Love got away with a lot of fouls when attempting to block a shot...this play was clearly a foul as well...the refs were obviously swayed by the crowd in this "neutral" court game...it just simply wasnt fair

  • What's fair, life is not fair...don't lose 11 games, do better than 8-8 in league play and try not to have a 3 game losing streak TWICE and you might stay closer to home next time with a higher seed..........

  • lets be real here. ucla also got some bad calls on them. also, the real loser here is texas, who had a 10 point lead over ucla. you should blame texas for letting ucla catch up.

  • ...just a few notes about Donald Sloan

Since the 5OT Baylor loss, Sloan has made 42 of 56 (75%) free throw attempts.

    Since 2/1/08, Sloan has made 39 of 49 (80%).

Since the 5OT loss to the final Big XII regular season game, Sloan made 35 of 41 (85%) free throw attempts.

  • Say he hits the two free throws...do you think A&M would have one the game, really? It would have been a tie game with 5 seconds left on the clock...

  • i dont have to say anything to you...you made yourself looks like an idiot...you said, "do you think A&M would have ONE the game, really?" now that proves your intellect! lol

  • I see you are over the the A&M loss since the best you can do is harp on my type-o, good, better luck next year FOOLIO. GO GRUINS

  • you dont even know how to talk crap...im a KU fan bud, i just thought A&M got shafted. KU is gonna win it all this year!

  • Wow, you actually believe KU is going to beat UNC? You guys haven't played anyone this year. your best win was over Big 12 (which hate to tell you is a mid-major) champion Texas who was DE-STROYED by Memphis by 20. Plus you barely escaped Davidson which is basically a highschool team. Yeah, UNC is going to beat you rednecks like a rented mule.

  • Uh....yeah. Good job there Nostradamus.

Did your "mid-major" team enjoy the game tonight? Dumbass.

  • looks like KU beat both UNC and Memphis. I guess all those mid-major Big 12 teams prepared the 'hawks well enough

  • I don't know if anyone would have one the game. Some one would have certainly won though...

  • if you arent going to make the call when the game is on the line tell us and we will bring our football team on the court and beat the shit out of the defence

  • oh god. please stop. you're making a fool out of yourself. those refs were bad all around and made poor calls throughout the whole game for both teams. please stop writing so many anti-ucla comments being all one-sided n shit.

  • i dont give a damn if they shouldnt have put them selfs in that position to go o.t a foul is a foul first minuet or last

P.S UCLA fans you got away with a call AGAIN

Stanford blocked the shot clean, you fouled the CAL player befor the ball went out of bounds, and this was a foul you won because the reffs swallowed thier whissle AGAIN

GO WKU HILLTOPPERS rep the state of Kentucky

  • That's plain dumb. Why shoot a three to win the game when a two will take you to over-time and you are 2-10 for the game from 3-point range? Five players could have been in the paint and it would not have mattered, a foul is a foul. The refs had to have seen it and let it go being at the end of the game. Tough break for A&M, but I think Sloan should have had his FTs but only shooting 63%on the season who knows...Bad no call, maybe hitting the hand or something but grabbing the wrist? Come on.

  • You shoot a 3-pointer because UCLA had been blocking EVERYTHING inside, and as someone stated earlier, that may have been one of the reasons a foul wasn't called. Even looking at it again, it seemed to be an iffy call anyway. To their credit, A&M did not cry about a no-call afterwards. Also, UCLA was the one that had come back in the game. Even if A&M sent it to OT, all the momentum would have been with the Bruins. I think they would have had a better shot to hit a 3 than to win it in OT.

  • how is it an iffy call he got molested

  • I am not a bruin fan. But that was a good non-call. As A&M advanced the play, #22 cut across the lane, pulling Shipp with him. UCLA effectively had three defenders in the lane, and A&M drove right into the triple team. Stupid. They should have played for the win and shot the three. Instead, they tried to stuff it down the gut and got blocked. Too bad. Don't blame the refs.

  • how is to guys pulling on elbow and wrist a stuff. That was almost as good of call as those refs were making. Thanks for the input though. OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Turinab, I want to help you. I really do. Like how a boy scout helps an old lady cross the street. So let me give you some basic mathematical principles. Here is an example of some of Sloan's free throw shooting in season 2007/8: AGAINST Alabama - 1 for 2 (50%) Arizona - 1 for 3 (33%) Detroit - 1 for 3 (33%) Texas - 1 for 4 (25%) Nebraska - 1 for 4 (25%) And now he's at the line during in the tournament against the #1 seed with seconds left on the clock?! If you need more help, let me know.
  • Hey, I'm not saying that call changes the result of the game or that he's going to make the free throws but they should still make the call. Even if he makes both free throws UCLA still has a chance to go down the floor get a good look for the win or to go to OT and in my mind win it. Still that call has to be made. Good for T A&M for playing UCLA so close though. I thought UCLA would breeze through their bracket. It's a shame T A&M didn't get a chance to at least force UCLA to make a shot

  • EVERYONE STOP COMPLAINING! The truth of the matter is, you make your own breaks. UCLA made theirs. They put themselves in a great position to win. Furthermore, UCLA blocked everything in sight before that play so they get the benefit of the doubt. And everyone knows that the refs favor the home team and UCLA earned the right to play a 'home game' because they were the best team in the west. Was the play clean? No. Was that the only call missed? No. Is UCLA the only team that gets calls? No.

  • Half of Love's block should have been fouls. Half the time you get a clean block they call a foul so how does he get 7 blocks and only 3 fouls.

  • ncaa is fixed for ratings because NOBODY watches basketball EXCEPT during march

  • uh no genius it means he misses about 3 out of 10 freethrows. And let the FT decide the game not a missed call. Go back to school

  • I don't think the game was fixed. I just think the refs did a poor job and a foul should have been called. It makes no difference what % free throw shooter Sloan is, it makes no difference that A&M lost their 10 point lead. It was a foul and it SHOULD have been called. Please don't call me a whiner because I am far from it - fair is fair - and there are rules. The game is over, there's nothing that can be done about it, but I bet the refs have gotten a clear message from this!

  • At the very least, the NCAA needs to SERIOUSLY consider returning to the use of officiating "crews" in hoops, just as they do in football ...

This mismatching of random officials, especially during the tournament is prone to mistakes, tampering, or both!!!

Dr. James Naismith, inventor of the game, and Dr. Forrest "Phog" Allen, who helped to develop the NCAA tournament, are spinning in their graves because of this travesty.

We know, they are both buried in Lawrence ... and we can hear it!!!!

  • Texas A&M was 3-7 from the free throw line before this play. If you put yourself into a position to lose at the last second, there is no one to blame but yourself.
