There's not much new here - all of the stuff they're shown so far could be done on a single touch screen. They could have come up with much more interesting ways of displaying and manipulating sound - how about pinching it to change pitch? You could have rotatable sounds where the extent to which the icon "faces" you determines how much presence the sound has (ie. the amount of treble on it - a common dj technique is to bring music right down to bass frequencys and then bring it up again).
