  • worst. music. ever.

  • This is the problem with the world. A bunch of atheist people sitting in their rooms declaring their faith that they don't believe. It's funny how men and women of science consider themselves so objective, but when it comes to religion, it completely changes to subjective.

  • personally, i do not care if you believe in nothing, santa claus, a god or whatever, just shut up about it if you feel the need to discuss it all the time, you do not have to believein the supernatural, the paranormal, a god, ghost, alien or demon, but im sure some of them believe in you =p

  • Dont worry about believers finding you on youtube and cussing you out, they think the internet is an unholy demon ;)

  • What I love is how people try to say..."Look there are holes in scientific theory!' And while rolling in their victory, because indeed science is built on answering and patching the holes, they fill them with nonsense with no basis on fact...

  • my guess was homo sapien.

  • Crap! When it asked what all those people had in common, i thought that they were all walking. Man, was i off... :D

  • Its sad that a person would want to dewell on man than God, believe we aren't any special than an animal & blame God and not Satan. Who hurt these people so bad? God is everywhere in everything. No particle could have made this. If so, who made the particle? If find it just as sad as believers that out of these of stars that ours is the only one with human life form. Christianity isn't a box, its a projector shining a picture on a screen. But an Atheist is at the show with blinders.

  • @kashuanlovelace...Who created god then? It's kind of to the tune of the same logic, of..."Because I said so!" Really, the whole point of this campaign is to denature the ideas that atheists and agnostics are not people, like Glenn Beck and the rest of Fox News has been pumping for years now. We are not godless, evil robots bent on domination, but rather, really just want people to get over it, or keep it private, as the founding fathers intended it to be...

  • @kashuanlovelace you are asking the wrong questions...

  • What do they all have in common? they're all stylish? cool, I'm atheist AND stylish

  • this commercial sucks... really, to promote atheism we need really good commercials.

  • cowboy... BEBOP...? YESSSSS!!!

  • its better to think agnostic than atheist.

Its a safer choice ... We know that we dont know, Socratic Ignorance.

  • @hen555 agnostic IS atheist. if you don't actively believe in a god, you are atheist, period. it matters not whether you believe one could possibly exist.

  • @xgotarox is it I dont know, but i cannot say whether there is a god or not. I just really dont know and i believe no one will know the answer unless theres facts/proof.

  • @hen555 yes, you are atheist. agnostic is a type of atheist. some atheists are not agnostic and believe there is no god, but probably most atheists are agnostic. that could be simply because most people who don't believe in a god are afraid to call themselves atheist and identify as agnostic under the false impression agnostics are not atheist.

  • @hen555 Socrates is dead. Safer choice? More like lazy-ass choice. Can't think for yourself? Not even to find the meaning of your life? That's sad. Everyone is agnostic, because we can't possibly know it all, but when it comes to fictional deities that are highly improbable we can stand and firmly claim there can't be no gods. Start thinking.

  • @hen555 Atheism and agnosticism address two discrete ideas: atheism addresses whether or not you believe there is a god, and agnosticism addresses whether or not you can know if there's a god. Knowledge vs. belief. Apples and oranges.

  • This is for the uneducated atheists...

  • A very well produced video.

  • Am I the only one who finds this video slightly creepy?

  • Ok, it's a tad corny, and the wording is a bit odd, but the message is a good one. Great vid!

  • 100 bucks says theres a christian out there freaking out claiming this is a war against christianity and its uber offensive

  • @keggerous my money says there are at least four freaking out right now :)

  • It kills me when I tell someone I'm an Atheist, and they something to the effect of: "Well, you seem OK to me".

    WTF?!?

    Really?!?

Just what kind of pre-existing perceptions did you have regarding Atheists anyway?

  • @steveb0503 I think the first image to come to mind for these people is Mad Max. Theists tend to confuse Atheism with anarchy.

  • @skywize The problem seems to stem from an inability to see things from any perspective other than their own - I hear/read plenty of comments to the effect of: You're just trying to justify not following God's commands/rules because you want to do whatever you want and not have to answer to someone for it.

Of course, the best response to that one is: So, your telling me that without either the carrot of Heaven, or the stick of Hell, you wouldn't act decent towards your fellow man?!?

  • @steveb0503 I can't have conversations like that because I end up in wrap around conversations where they are repeating my questions to me, and forcing me to repeat even the simplest statements. A omnipotent, omniscient invisible god from another dimension creates time and all life itself in the span of a week they can grasp just fine. Not being mean to someone so they don't kick your ass, they can't understand. God must have told you to be nice.

  • @skywize I just mean that if you put the onus on them to defend their ideology, you can point out that if either the threat of punishment or the promise of reward is the ONLY reason they are good - then all they are doing is sucking up, and that's a pretty poor reason to be nice towards (or at least considerate of) others. Sometimes it's enough to break the spell their circular reasoning holds them in because it makes them realize there are probably other motivations involved.

    But, I hear ya...

  • @steveb0503 Good point. Why can we not be good to people out of simple respect for others, or the simply fact that we enjoy the company of others as opposed to being outcast for bad behavior? Is it better that we play nice so we can get a cookie rather than be sent to our rooms?.....forever......?

  • @skywize Precisely.

I've often pointed out that we are - if nothing else - social creatures and as such, unless I prefer to be alone in this world, I'd better be somewhat considerate of what others think of me due to my behavior - besides, it makes me feel good to be nice to others (undoubtedly - at least from my perspective - due to evolutionarily induced built-in biases toward having exactly that feeling generated by an act of kindness on my part).

  • Im glad im not the only one.

  • We are finally moving towards advertisement? Can I say hallelujah? LOL. I too believe it not about the "spread" of atheism, as if we are a cult trying to convert people. That's too religious for my taste. Instead, its about the removal, REMOVAL of religion from the "public". If someone wants to worship god, allah, chalk. Go ahead, But don't pledge allegiance in my school to one nation under chalk!!!!!!!!!!! :) ( can i point out that the spell checker tried to make me capitalize allah? : ( lol

  • atheists eat babies. i've seen it in a restaurant

  • @Samura1gamer hard boiled or deep fried?

  • @Qubvo they eat them alive of course

  • @Samura1gamer Do they at least put some sort of sauce on the baby first? You know, to cover up that baby smell? I hear their meat is very tender indeed. Personally I think baby would taste best in an Indian dish, like butter chicken but with baby instead. I like to eat my babies unbaptised, religion leaves such a foul taste in my mouth; however nothing is more satisfying that chewing up christians and then shitting them out ;-)

  • @Samura1gamer

Absolutely! Communist baptised baby steak tatar with some sugar from our glorious leader Fidel Castro on the top yum yum!

  • @Samura1gamer can you give me the direction of that restaurant please? :) XD

  • @Samura1gamer You may want to avoid that particular restaurant. I hear some of the meat ain't kosher.... ;v)

  • Not one comment about how absolutely gorgeous the woman in the beginning looks? Wow, you guys are sterile. I'm already an atheist but I'll def join just to say hi to her.

  • @mrcoldheart I was distracted by the end of the video, but damn she's stunning!

  • I know this may sound stupid but I encourage other atheists to help stop the spread of religion. Make you knowledge worthwhile and cut back on saying things like , bless you, and god bless, and thank god. An easy way to do this is by replacing god with evolution, that is what I do anyway. If anybody has a better idea please share.

  • @EnchancedHuman Well in terms of sayings, I say Sante or Gesundheit (to your Health) instead of bless you and thank goodness instead of thank god, the more you do it the more others around you will, I agree that thanking a deity is unnecessary and I cringe a little when I hear it said now.

  • @EnchancedHuman I don't think the spread of atheism requires actively censoring the word god from vocabulary. Atheism needs to be promoted and needs to stay on upper ground from a tactic like that imo.

  • @mrcoldheart It is not about the spread of atheism, it is about denouncing the credibility of God, and unless your saying fuck God or something bad about god and religion the using the word is a waste of your breathe, I find it offensive when I do something good and people say thank god or somebody else does something and people thank god for it, NO it was not god it was me, not it was not god who saved those people it was a person, a human. That is my point. God should not be an idol.

  • @EnchancedHuman whoa friend reeeelax. I consider myself a proud atheist and If given the choice of teaching people to reason or defacing fantasy characters I choose reason. I feel the same way as you about saying god bless you after someone sneezes but I realize that's a reflex not idolization. How do you think Doctors feel when someone thanks god over them? All I'm saying is the atheism movement is getting bigger and we need to focus on the root not the branch.

  • @mrcoldheart Okay I understand I am just point out a small thing people can attempt to do, it is not a huge thing just a little extra something to stop this idea of God, I mean obviously people are not trying to spread God when they say it but in a sense they are, I just think if we can get God and religion out of our "reflex" vocabulary maybe we can more easily get them out of the real world. Of course the root it what we need to focus on but we can always do a little extra in other aspects.

  • god is a myth,ty.

  • @LodoKreshno hell yeah!

  • wonderful cinematography here

  • Really? They don't -seem- very normal.

  • @CuriousMoth I think the woman who bought the new house may have have had turrets, but otherwise they seemed fine....

  • Great news for Atheist The bible says that not all ppl would be saved so u guys are right !!! i just hope couple of ppl open their eyes but the rest there is nothing we can do !!

  • What about thinking Agnostic?

  • @Alexisme1001 what about thinking these nuts in yo mouth!!!!

  • oh boy, people giving vague 'true christian' defenses and sophomoric arguments from true believers at telling atheists they don't exist in a rhetorical attempt to prove their god exists (while exposing the fact that they consider themselves god by moving the argument to the individual context)

Are they incapable of coming up with their own arguments?

  • ,Atheists believe that God doesn't exist, so whatever is declared God doesn't exist. I declare atheists as my God .

  • @petebax1 ermm, u say dat god doesnt exist..den who creates u n other creatures?

  • go to school

  • @nonchalantAK He just said Atheists are god....so we did! ;v)

  • and this my dear children are what we in the REAL world like to call...a FAIL

  • Atheists and gays should develop plans for possible upcoming economic collapse or plague. We currently enjoy civil rights enforced (barely) by force of law and rationality, which could become scarce. We are concentrated in the cities, which will pose survival challenges. Religious nuts would target us and blame us regardless what causes any emergency. Form communities and prepare, or be ready to jump back into the closet. :(

  • @SaviourSole

I honestly don't believe that Christian have that great of numbers. Yes, everyone claims to be Christian, for sure, and they "believe" in God - but they've never read the bible or ever go to Church.

They're Christians by tradition, but I call them posers - they have a religion but "don't have time" for lent, church, etc... They still eat meat on Fridays.

At least where I live. Also, only old people go to Church. So I don't think Christians will hate Atheists.

  • @pdblouin33 true Christians dont/cannot hate atheists. That is not what true Christianity teaches.

Its okay to think! but excluding the possibility of God is limited thinking.

  • @helpmetony

Limited? Yes, but ONLY if you aren't talking about your God, and you're including ALL Gods.

Only believing in YOUR God as a possibility is just as limited, since you're denouncing every other God that has ever been believed in.

I'm a level 6.9 Atheist, as determined by Richard Dawkins - I do not exclude the possibility of Gods but I refuse to positively affirm their existence without any evidence - that is faith, and is delusional.

  • @pdblouin33 so, Dick determines your worldview?

  • @helpmetony

    Who's Dick? Dawkins?

An Atheism Intensity Scale is hardly a world view. It's a concept to demonstrate a certain value - they exists everywhere in the world.

  • @pdblouin33 they? the intensity scale? the concept? explain.

  • @pdblouin33 look heaven, dust, reincarnation or whatever right !!! i rather go to heaven than anything else but if im wrong then what did i lose !! nothing right? think about it !!!

  • @bossoftheblock

We've all heard Pascals Wager, which relies on the fact that a potential god cares whether you really believe or just faking it. Oh, and if you believe Jesus is the son of God, then you're going to Muslim hell, or any of the other negative eternities of all the other made up fantasies. So no, you not saving your ass one bit. In fact you might be digging er deeper grave if God simply rewards atheists for their honesty.

    Think about it!!!

  • THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!

  • Ah atheists!!!! they are invading us

    XD!

  • I do not require the fear of hell to be a good person.

  • atheist is a noun. just like noun is a noun.

  • 0:51 is that on cape cod in wellfleet, cause it looks like it is

  • Well made...but it makes me wonder where you get your financing? =/

  • Whatever it is, it isn't near as much as, say , a mega church or the vatican. For Jesus freaks, they sure are loaded.

  • Yep...imagine the number of homeless shelters built or farmers saved from takeover if that money was put to better use.

  • He prays to allah every day and the money just comes. hehe.

  • not as appealing as your other videos, but as always extremely well executed.

i liked the music and cinematography, and absolutely LOVED the font!

  • The brunnette in the white shirt at 0:10 and 0:22 made it worth the watch =D

  • Dammit! We almost had them surrounded and you ruined it! :D

  • This video is a bit odd. I get what you're going for, but yeah....

  • it sucks that videos like these are necessary

  • @celtic426 Yeah.

    It's like saying,

"It's ok to think rational; about the world around us and not believe in fairytales over logic!"

    WTF has our species become?
