this is so outdated and old. no college proffesor wants to read a 5 paragraph essay. and you should never have anything that invalidates your thesis like that weird con paragraph he mentioned. also, have fun with it. papers are for expressing yourself and coming up with creative ideas on how to make it fun to read for your audience! oh, and the intro should never be more than a couple sentances. dont be so formulaic! this isnt math class, its expression of thought.

@dinalives I mostly agree with you... but when you have to write a 15-20 page paper, "a couple sentences" for the introduction is not going to cut it.
