I think you mean like... overlays? It's a combination of multiple video tracks in Sony Vegas, with cookie cutter placed on them and the transparency lowered. It can be lowered by just clicking at the top of the clip and dragging down.

Well it takes hours to render a video in HQ either way. Usually it depends on what effects we add, what track motion we have etc. If we have motion blur, that increases the render time, and if we have multiple tracks that also increases the render time, same with video plug ins and effects. This video had 13 tracks... so it was a hassle. We just need a new computer with better RAM lol.
