lol @the funky funny music. man you got to take in consideration rockstars hard work for putting in so much detail around the game. i mean look at the floor. and how the buildings blend in with the pavement. ever played a f**king free roam game that you see the buildings were attached to the ground like some kinda effin lego block.. i love also the pavement how you can see grass grow from the cement on the floor. and the sunsets are unbelievable. i cant wait til gta 5 next year.
applefan81 yea its normal getting hot specialy when ur playing games or converting videos i have the hp hdx16 with the gt 130m it reaches abt 75deg when im playing gta iv or crysis, and for those who have a gt 130m or a 9600m gt those gpu's r made to play games with high texture so in gta just put the texture on high nd the texture filltering on high ull c tht it runs with better framerates
i have this laptop. My laptop runs gta 4 on med-high settings. I don't remember exactly. Gets about 40 fps in buildings. 30-35 when outside. And in police chases, rain or fog, i get about 20-25
the only major flaw is that the graphics card in the 18t is still not quite up to par with the rest of the system. Quad core is great but when you're talking about very modern high end games with powerful graphical requirements, the graphics card is more important.

asus g50vt can kick this laptop's ass with its performance and price... It has then Nvidia Geforce 9800M GT, which is WAY better than the 9600.
But for being a HP, it quite good...

9800M GT is way better! Google the ASUS G50vt and youll see many people running Crysis on it, also... The price is unbeatable, Only $900.00

Emotionengne 2 years ago
you have 4GB of RAM with a 32 bit edition of vista?? you need a 64bit vista to use more than 3gb of ram

maybe he is going to upgrade to 64bit soon. or maybe he uses a Physical Address Extension
