i have a AMD phenom II quadcore processor clocked at 3.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, ASROCK k10n78m motherboard and a NVIDIA 9500 GT silent 1GB super plus pci-e graphic's card....

my computer struggled to run napoleon total war....im scared it wont run this....My PC has all the requirments for these games but something is struggling...but where? my PC is custom build so i can easily upgrade any part! any suggestions are welcome! thank you!

@S3RB4LIF3 Your graphics card is definetly the thing bottlenecking your PC. I suggest upgrading to a Geforce 480 or 570, or if you want to go for cheaper stuff but still good card, check out the HD5850 or perhaps even the 6850 ^^

@S3RB4LIF3 Lol! Don't worry dude, I'm using a 4 year old "Ancient technology" computer with an NVIDIA 8800GT, 4GB's ram, dual core 2.2GHz and a semi old motherboard. I run the game perfectly on normal (medium) graphics.

Graphics don't make a game, gameplay does.

@TheRealVanillaTwix from what ive seen from the demo you have a family and you have sons that become generals and daughters to marry off for alliance purposes occasionaly youll get a message saying some random guy wants to be a general and you can either accept and pay him or just decline you can later adopt these hired generals and theres something about brothers i think idk

you guys dont havet to spend a fortune on graphics cards... Just buy one for 130$ that comes with crossfire techonoolgy. Crossfire allows you to have up to 8 graphics cards connected at once. Of course that's not nessisary. I have one and i can play napoleon total war and empire total war on very high graphics :D

I think they will do a Rome 2 - Total War after this, but i'd love to see them do a Modern - Total War, now i know this idea is stupid and unlikly but i'd mainly just love to see how they do it, going form WW1 to todays age, been able to use tanks & so on, as i've said i don't think it would work, but i wouldnt mind seeing the finished product

@iamabsFTW I agree, Creative Assembly could make scripts as in you start at 1905 and start to form alliances with whoever (Germany and Britan vs France Russia ect) and all shit breaks loose in 1914 that idea could do to be cleaned up but you get the basic idea

@rayba47 i agree 100%, think they should get rid of merchants, and introduce a few more muslim and pagan factions, add more dimension to game, they should fix the two handed weapon too, so halberds are as awesome as they look. Ill wait to see what they have done for landings in S2TW, this could be a whole new way of warfare, imagine if u could ambush an army while half way through landing.

@attomal Yeah as much as i love sword combat, Empire proved gun combat can be just as great but new tactics needed to be developed, imagine the new tactics needed for a game set in the great war and world war 2, even there you have to change tactics almost completely twice in one game :D

Yes! An improvement of Shogun TW. I probably want to look for a mod and make a custom battle similar to the last battle in "The Last Samurai." Anyhow, hope they make the second Rome TW. Probably the last awesome game until they probably go for a world TW, improve, or continue with guns from the Colonial to World War 1.

Why are people complaining about the graphics? This is how computer gaming is. You should expect to have to upgrade your computer every few years. If you don't like it stick with console gaming. I'd be pretty pissed if I spent money on the latest graphics card and no one ever bothered to update the graphics.

ok they have crossed the line with the graphics. The graphics are great but who the hell wil be able to play this on very high settings! like 1 in 200 people will be able to play this on very high settings and not have any performance troubles. Does anyone remember having to play empire total war on very low settings? i do. it looked like i was playing with paper cut outs. If you ask me, napoleon total war graphics are as total war graphics should go for a couple of years. this is just insane.

I'm not particularly excited about the quantity of uneducated weebos that are going to buy this game just because it's Japanese. i hope they bring back the system in the original shogun where to train horse archers you needed both a stable and archery range, etc. it made it pretty interesting with the limited space as to what each city trained.
