  • Jeff Mcgregor and Jim Lange did compete together on a game show hosts for charity week of Scrabble in 1988.

  • Jeff did OK for the time, they probably wanted a younger host, which is why Lange wasn't chosen(though Eubanks is rouglhly as old as Lange and he was brought back for the 80s Newlywed, save for Paul Rodriguez replacing him for the second half of the 1988-89 season). Jeff and Elaine did have more in-game interplay than Lange did.

  • It's that the same microphone used on TPIR with Bob Barker later on?

  • Well guys, let me say this:

When it comes to The Dating Game, to me, no one can top Mr. Bullseye Man Jim Lange and The King of Words Chuck Woolery

Elaine Joyce (despite having an attitude off camera) she was pretty good and the set was so cool as well as the theme to her version

Brad Sherwood was also good, but his version was WAY out of place

Now as for Jeff MacGregor, he wasn't fit for The All New Dating Game, he seemed too out of place and plus his jokes were lame and not funny

  • lol it's funny b/c they advertize the fact it has a/c, now it's like a standard evrywhere

  • What an idiot. He meant looking at the size of his meat before spending any money, not his heart.

  • He can't be half as bad as the idiot hosts who have hosted game shows in recent years (Rossi Morreale, for one).

  • I had forgotten that they got a new set for the third and final season (1988-89). At the time Newlywed game got a new set and new host.
