I remember like it was yesterday buying The Darknes album, I was 16 and had this shitty turn table but when I cranked the first song, Badlands, the lyrics just blew me away but the song on that record that sent chills up my spine was, Something in the Night. I would play that song over and over again. I guess I was feeling like that guy in the song. To this day that song gets to me.
My package arrived today - just one short word - WOW! The documentary is worth the money on its own. I knew Bruce was a perfectionist, but his control over Darkness was just phenomenal. An historical glimpse of a genius at work.
Echo everything that has been said here. Saw Mr B and Edward Norton ( at least I think it was Norton) at the bar in the Four Seasons hotel here in Toronto the other night.
