Is that not a full frontal scene at 4:47?? I recall watching this video on MM when i was a young teen and rejoicing in the pussy shot. gotta love the CRTCs version on artristry
@MikeyMikeisMe It is a pussy shot. But then again, it's Canadian television not American. We don't get our shorts in a knot over a little nudity. To us, Janet Jacksons wardrobe malfunction was a reason to chuckle not to get in a tizzy of self-righteous indignation. To us, the the funniest part of it was how the most vulgar nation on earth reacted to one flabby boob.
@FatFred2U Sure, America has plenty of vulgarity, but I'm sure Canada isn't free of it, either. No need to start a border war! Haha Anyway, thanks for the input.
@MikeyMikeisMe additionally I would like to point out that Canada's MM had no hesitation in playing the uncensored version of REM's "Pop Song '89" which featured three women dancing along with Michael Stipe topless for the entire video.
wonderful soul of a great Artist,,thats what i see and hear every time Jane performs her incredible songs, thanks going to video maker, thank you Sue/TheLangChannel for this special to my heart share.
It occurred to me just now, listening to both songs, that this song and Uncle Albert by Paul McCartney resemble each other a little in lyric and melody.
@vimcrony Rebecca Jenkins used to sing for Jane a lot on the Walking Tour etc., and she had an acting career for a while. Doesn't quite look like her, but might be. I'm surprised Rebecca Campbell isn't one of these four.
I don't actually know if these are the real singers or not.
Luminous says it perfectly. Luminous like a stain glass window in a cathedral.
@vimcrony In the credits, it is Rebecca Jenkins. She was in a Canadian war bride movie, and some other stuff. Fantastic singer too. She's the one who would sing
"this is, my finest moment"
on the walking tours
I saw her and Rebecca Campbell with Jane at Massey hall with the full band. I've never seen better "back-up" singing integrated with main vocals live.
I love her work, because it's closer to art than to pop music.

@stoker789 Don't bet on it. There's no way you'd get full frontal in a music video. It's an illusion, with the sand and water and the shirt.

Who's the woman on the far left? I feel like she's an actress I've seen.

Great song, beautiful women and nice warm colors in the clip... I like Jane Siberry's art very much.
