I'm a girl and I used to hate princesses and barbies and all that stuff. It sucks that this was on TV when I was 1 year old, so I couldn't watch and understand it. I found Xena on YouTube, and sometimes (not very often) I can still see it on tv (I'm Dutch). I think Xena is awesome, she guarantees my idea about what some people think about "helpless" girls, by kick some ass.

I love this theme song! It's a ringtone on my phone now haha. And I absolutely loved growing up with Xena...if I have a little girl, she's not going to be growing up with what most kids grow up with nowadays. I'll be playing Xena episodes for her to watch. Watched this show when I was 5 years old. Had my mom make me her outfit for Halloween and everything. Best female role model to grow up with EVER! She was strong and stood up for herself. Like most people posted here, I grew up watching this on Saturdays, and I LOVED it-I felt all mature, seven year old me watching violence and naughty insinuationist television, but it was also just awesome. Then they replaced it with Hercules and Beastmaster, but they weren't as good. Now, years later, I find that you can watch all the seasons for free online, and that's what I've been doing.

Definately. I loved this program - I was in high school when this came out, and it was too cool. The best part was watching how Callisto planned to mess with Xena's mind.

Very very ace. God, I loved every moment. I had sheet music (Joxer the Mighty), books, episode guides and the chakram. It was embarrassing. She was Buffy before the female kicking ass thing was cool.
