  • Their names are Ronnette, Crystal, and Chiffon. If you get the reference thumbs up xD

  • we are doing this for ower school play

  • It sucks how these amazing triplets get ignored by all the people inside and out of the shop.

  • Rocky Horror Picture show can kiss my ass.

  • is tisha campbell martin in the middle?

  • @TheTre369 Yes, it's her. And so is Tichina Arnold who also played on Martin and Everybody hates Chris, she's the first one to appear.

  • @Craverofchocolate they look so young. how old is this show? what network was it on?

  • @TheTre369 This movie was released in 1986. I believe Tichina was 15 and Tisha was 16 years old. You can get the dvd practically anywhere online.

  • @TheTre369 This was a movie from the 80's. They toured with the musical of Little Shop Horrors first before they were in the movie. They were about 17 and 18 at this time.

  • PAM n GINA thumps up

  • i came because family guy parodied the song

  • the third one makes me think of the fat muse from hercules

  • haha i sang this song in choir :)

  • I can still sing every song from this. I had it on VHS. Good times...

  • Its soo catchy and I dont think its ment to be!!

  • Does anyone have and URGE to watch the 90's TV show "Martin" ?????

  • @Sugarbabyful

Before that they were both on the early 90s Martin sitcom

  • It's very rare that I like a musical. But not only is this my favorite movie, all of the songs are AMAZING!

  • This song makes me happy.

  • My dance class for musical is doing this song

  • This movie puts Rocky Horror Picture Show to shame. That POS movie had one good song, and it was weird, dumb, and made no sense.

  • I can't believe they were 15 or 16 years old here.

  • I love Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell's friendship. They have good chemistry.

  • Two of em are 'tv mums' one in My Wife and Kids and the other in Everyone Hates Chris.

  • Two of em are 'TV mums' aren't they the mum in My wife and kids and the mum in Everybody hates Chris?

  • probably the only musicals i've ever liked are Little Shop of Horrors and Cats.

    that's because i haven't seen many musicals.

  • when i was little i would always think that the "Time Warp" from Rocky Horror was in Little Shop of Horrors :) oh how niave i was back then :) i dunno how i would confuse the two like that haha

  • I love this song, but is it just me, or do the girls not get wet? XD

  • Man I loved this movie such a CLASSIC!

  • hey thats the mom from everybody hates chris and the other girl is the mom in my wife and kids!!!! I knew i recognized them!!!

  • does anyone else notice how its pouring and the girls aren't wet? lol

  • i cant get this song out of my head

  • My school did this play ... it was amazing ..

I was in grade 6 & the High school did it the 3 girls who sang were amazing !

    & Seymour lol xD

    good times.

  • After seeing this I think I will sign up to try out for this musical at my school. Side note: seeing that tichina Arnold and tisha cambell are in this made me happy

  • The songs by these gals are one of the best things about this movie.

  • Wait, that's when I bought my venus flytrap! O.O

  • Auditioning to be a singing girl today! Wish me luck, or tell me to break a leg. Either is fine, just don't mention the Scottish Play.

  • @MissAngryGinger Macbeth.

  • Love this song.

  • Pam and Gena

  • We did this at my school and I got audrey, but didn't take it...

  • I`m singing this for an audition and I HATE the plain piano version. It`s so much slower.

  • two of those women were on martin

  • i dont like this video this is the boringest video i ever seen times a zillion it wont even load

  • my school did this play and it was amazing! one of my fave plays!!!

  • "on the 23rd day of the month of september... in an early year of the decade not too long before our own, the human race suddenly encountered a deadly threat to its very existence. and this terrifying enemy surfaced, as such enemies often do, in the seemingly most innocent and unlikely of places..."

What, in Sigmund Freud's mouth? He died of mouth cancer on the 23rd September.

  • i did this as a leavers assembly

  • tichina and tisha were so young and talented and still are.

  • uhh thats my birthday, lol september 23rd

  • doing this for orchestra

  • We're singing this in my school choir, and it's soooo much fun to sing!

  • wasn't Frank Oz the guy who voiced some of the muppets?

  • @vampiremidnighter13 Yup! He also played the voice of Yoda in Star Wars.

  • this would've been an awesome theme song to an 80s cartoon >.<

  • hehe it is the 23rd of September today!

  • my school is doing this as our school play. they finally did something right! :D

  • i hav a play at school and im gonna be a girl with a purple dress:))) :D

  • the best song of this movie.

  • my fave bit is the piano at the start and from 0:30 to 3:08 :)

  • Singing this in chours, LIke a boss.

  • I just thought. What if the other people actually see and hear them singing, and they're like, "Oh crap, the Muses are back again!"

"Just ignore them, Seymour, the song can't last forever. I'll give them about half a minute, then I get the shotgun."

  • @theholyhorehay it all makes sense now. Seymour had nothing to do with getting rid of Audrey 2. It was the doctor!

  • one of the two musicals I like enough to willingly watch multiple times. The other be Sweeney Todd.

  • @cytorakdemon what about rocky horror picture show? :-D lol

  • @cytorakdemon This. THIS SO MUCH. I just got back from a Highschool production of this, and it was actually great. This, and Sweeney Todd is just.... SO. GOOD.

  • my favorite part of this entire movie.

  • @caffienelovergirl oh wow i didnt kno that, ive seen this movie so many times and i just noticed that lol.

  • @xxxchuckyluvxxx Tisha Campbell. Beautiful womban. Both her and the girl to the right, Tichina Arnold, were also on Martin.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE! :D doing this musical next week ! can't wait

  • These girls are just plain AMAZING. And all of the clothes they use during the movie are gorgeous!

  • Gina and Pam killed the opening song. AWESOME!!

  • i love this so much

  • A pup named scooby doo :D

  • DIdn't Frank Oz also work along side Jim Henson?

  • @EightBitYoshi Yeah no kidden.

  • @EightBitYoshi pshhh i dont even consider high school musical a musical thats how bad it is

  • @EightBitYoshi my school did this musical this year it was soo good:) so glad they chose this instead of high school musical!

  • i like this movie with out all the singing but i like this song!! i watched this yesterday on my uncles wii with my cousins

  • @laddy1234on try the 1960 one ;)

  • 33 people didn't watch out

  • By far the best musical you will ever hear...

  • it must be very uncomfortable for Mr. Mushnick, having strange women in funny dresses walk in singing at him a lot of the time.

  • @blackclawedthing definitely bad for business

  • we watched this as a play today at my school. For some reason the little kids left scared. But the play was different from the movie.

  • @Shadearrow12 The play can be really creepy. ._.

  • My friends school did a dance to this. It was like a seasnon/ holiday themed show. Of course this song was for halloween. It was a cute dance. They had three girls on the side lip snycing to the song. I liked it.

  • I always wanted me a dress like that!

  • @FreckledBeauty1980 For a 60's dance we had last year in 8th grade, I sewed a dress similar to that, only mine was my favorite color pink.

  • if you type in A Pup Named Scooby Doo opening, they sound alike.

  • this song is a theme song of The Undertaker

  • @WWEFREAK372 Imagine Undertaker dancing to it. XD

  • lol its the moms from everybody hates chris

    and my wife and kids

  • @juzzylime94 yeh all black women r the same.....*rolls eyes*

  • @juzzylime94 Or Gina & Pam from Martin

  • Number 4 in most favorite movies!

  • Type into A Pup Named Scooby doo Intro...

  • OMG! We just performed this musical at my high school! :)

  • I still can't believe Tisha Martin-Campbell and Tichina Arnold were just teenagers in this movie... how time flies.

  • They sound like the same group that sings the theme for A Pup Named Scooby-Doo :D

  • @Hollawayx16 Yeah your right!

  • i agree with eightbityoshi i like annie the sound of music and this musical better then others :/

  • Im watching this in school and the songs are awesome! This is one of my favorites. I wish i knew about this movie earlier!

  • This movie is hella kick ass

  • sounds a bit like rock me sexy jesus

  • im loving the waterproof dresses.

  • @kamezor If you look closely, the rain isn't falling where they're standing. It's all in front, behind, or to the side.

  • @kotori87 because the dresses repel the water.

  • Well waddya know. at 2:40, those 3 girls manage to get 4 different voices haha

  • we did this when we left Primary School i was one of those singers!

  • I love that the light skinned singer in this is the mum out of My Wife and Kids. :-D

  • ha we did this in my school and i was the plant :D

  • The one on the left is Rochelle from Everybody Hates Chris!

  • SOME OF THE BEST SINGERS!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • One of the best intro songs ever!

  • i used to think they were the prettiest girls ever lol

  • their hair doesn't get wet because they are not actually out on the street singing in the rain. if anyone noticed them, or their hair got wet it would prove that they were part of the story telling. but as it stands, since nobody can see or hear them, and they don't get wet by the rain it shows that they are part of the musical composition and narrative, just like any other narrator, and not part of the active storyline.

  • @yohonifer Then why do they show up in street cloths and talk to the characters?

  • @yohonifer ????

  • @yohonifer I agree. In the style of Greek Tragedies they would be 'the chorus". quite literally

  • @yohonifer Except for the bit where' they're shooed away from the front of the shop for loitering right before they sing Downtown.

  • @Riccon90 That's true, but they were also dressed in different clothing and playing different characters.. perhaps.

  • the guy dosent seem to notice 3 singers dressed in blue polka dots behind him, yet he hears Semour breaking something...

  • OMG! Gina, Pam and ....Shaneneh??

  • @mpsavitsky oooo u worng for the last one hahahahahaha

  • I wish that this was the South Jordan Comunity center one

  • How did they walk through the rain without getting wet? o_O They didn't have very advanced special effects when this was made.

  • @singerg02 i noticed that too...i was like, 'how is their hair not getting wet?'

  • @mistysilence2 I say this as a black woman myself- trust me, if you spent your time and money getting your hair done like theirs, you wouldn't even think of going outside in the rain without the protection of a movie's special effects crew.

  • @Tryptophile haha! i'd believe it! some of the hair i've seen looks so nice, but must be so costly to have it like that...

  • my school is doing this this year, should be good :D

  • My school just did this show and I was Seymour! This might be my favorite broadway musical now. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! She bettta, eeeverybody betta bewaaaare!

  • @Werenumberone1 Awseome! Did the plant look cool?
