it is probely not a Terciopelo snake but a colubrid i cant tell for sure but it is far more likly. they are mildy venomous but it wont kill you. they are far more comon in places whith human activity and not as robust as the FER-de-lance. i bet you have the name terciopelo from a local but they think all snakes are deadly
