For all the morons saying they don't like Coen brothers' endings...stop complaining! They are the only ones in Hollywood doing anything original. You are supposed to THINK about the movie. Not just get 2 hours worth of mind-numbed entertainment. Come on!
Loved your review. I loved every second of this movie. The intro is one of the best pieces of filmmaking I've ever seen, but I had one qualm. Maybe I'm just dumb, but I didn't see a connection with the prologue to the rest of the film.
Like yourself, I did like the ending. I asked myself those questions and it dawned on me just how well it fit. Took me a few minutes though!
If you could maybe enlighten me where the connection between the intro and the rest of the film is, that'd be excellent.
Don't get me wrong, love the films themselves, just feel more often than not the endings let them down. Fargo's the only one I was left mildly satisfied with.
I've been dying to see this. Hopefully I can see it soon. I usually love ambiguous endings and the way you decribe this movie seems right up my alley. Great review.

I waste 100 minutes watching this bullshit, telling myself "it's okay. that ending is going to be a huge payoff". Then the Movie ends like that?! FML
