Well I didn't like any of them, but still, the hitting part wasn't needed. Even if he sucked, its still there fault, its not like they just picked him up off the streets a few seconds before starting. If someone hit me, no matter the reason, for playing badly, I wouldn't have taken it, the singer would have gotten a guitar in the face. But as I was saying, they would have had to known he sucked in the first place and would have realized he wasn't ready.

It's obvious, judging by the way he plays here, that this guitarist is pretty much a beginner and his playing couldn't have been much better when they rehearsed (if they rehearsed at all). So I'm pretty sure that he sounded bad even before going on stage, they all knew it and still got on that stage, probably hoping for some kind of miracle to make them sound good. I'd say these guys are all bunch of amateurs, but this vocalist and bassist are also frustrated idiots.

I've only ever played in front of two people at most and it can happen then. The pressure of making sure you don't sound terrible can be havoc on the mind. I was practicing Sweet Child O Mine the other day. I've played that riff litereally thousands of times, at different speeds and tempos, to perfect it. I can play it perfectly. When I showed by brother the other day, I froze. I knew where I wanted my fingers to go but they refused to go to the right place.

It's obvious most of you have never played in any kind of band. That guitarist was CLEARLY blowing off the entire song, he deserved to be slapped. The tension had been building in that band for quite some time. The guitarist made the band look like fools, so the vocalist made the guitarist look like a fool. Kinda surprised the bassist went after him with his neck though, that could've inflicted some real damage. I love the sound made by the guitar when he gets slapped. Hilarious.
