Between that and the rest of the clip, apperently Lombaxes are the epitome of manliness in Japan. Maybe it's related to the tanuki thing.

his eyebrows are big because in japan the people have flat faces; so by changing the texture on the 3D model they gave him more of that appearance without having to change the model at all. thus making the character more identifiable.
