It kind of upsets me when people spend hundreds, even thousands, of dollars on "purebred" dogs, when there are dogs like these--that are sometimes even free--just waiting to show how good of a dog they can be. Truth be told, these "purebreds" are just products of mixing different dog breeds for desired traits--making them "mutts". The real purebred dogs aren't even called dogs. We call them wolves, jackals, and foxes. When I look for a dog, I look at the blood, not the bloodline.
@gshadowcrossgmailcom it really upsets me too! I just heard something from the pound that i help out at. Someone returned their dog because they found out she wasn't a purebred. How selfish, dumb and crazy is that?! Totally not fair to the dog that they stopped loving her just because she didn't live up to their standards! That poor dog was going to love them forever, but according to her owners, spending "forever" with a mutt, wasn't acceptable.
@xDontBreakMyHeartx My hands balled up into a fist at the thought. I too use to work with animals (as an animal control officer). There, you find out that the worst animals are BS pet owners. When a person takes a dog in, it should be because they like the dog (breed should be irrelevant). The dogs in your video are beautiful, and look that they would make fine pets. If people are so worried about what their dog is, they should give it a DNA test! Great video.

You said something about dog DNA testing, so I looked it up and I ordered one for my mixed baby just for curiosity's sake. All dogs are great.
Mutts are the best dogs. We only adopt from shelters now because we realized those dogs are the ones who REALLY need homes. Please adopt from shelters and save a life! We have two mutts and my mutt Brownie is the best dog I've ever had. None of our old pure bred dogs are even close to as wonderful as he is! I love all dogs but the mutts are the ones that need our help. Great video, huge thumbs up!

The dog at 00:48 reminds me of when I adopted Djembe, that was eight years ago but this vid made it feel like Deja-vu. You did a wonderful job with this Jenna...Peace

These muts are all beautiful. The shelter dogs and the show dogs have the same things in common. They both don't have the freedom. Show dogs are not allowed to roll in the dirt. Purebreds are ok. But let them be dogs. And like you said, adopt them from a shelter. The shelters are full of them.

Most videos I see about mutts are trying to make them out as -better- than purebreeds... Which I find beats the point. A dog is a dog, right? :s Your video is great, though. I find so many mutt-lovers say bad things about purebreeds and I have no idea why. I have very complicated views on dogs and I could write a whole essay but I'll spare you the time and boredom, lol.

I have 2 mutts myself and there is nothing more unique then a mutt! No 2 are alike.
