at the end of each 'chorus' section, the chord sections, it sounds like there are quaves or accidentals - did you add them in yourself or were they written in your copy? they aren't in mine so am curious.
@musicmurph117 Hi, MusicMurph117. I actually put a touch of my musical idea in the piece. I had been playing this piece for so long as written, that I decided to add some difference in certain sections. I'm actually glad you noticed. =}
Hi! Nice approach to Bach, Wil...somewhat technical, and due to the nature of this recording it actually comes off sounding kind of like a Clavierchord or harpsichord, which really jibes nicely with the manner in which you play
nice job. ive been trying to learn this piece forever. tough because ive been out of lessons since 2006. it seems like you could lower the left hand by an octave for a richer sound. is that a grand or upright?
@langalisc I appreciate. =] Yeah, I learned the piece in about a month, but that's because i've had lessons since 96. heh. I was actually afraid to lower the left hand because I'm left handed :P... I've been known to play the bass louder than the upper voices because of that.. so, going any lower.. You probably would have heard just the bass. heh.
Very Nice video! I have that same casio keyboard, its in my picture on my page. lol just thought it was cool. haha nice job on that, i know it was hard to learn all the way through without mistakes.
@ethanj671 thanks a bunch! =] I appreciate =] I haven't played that keyboard in a long time .lol. You've no clue how many "takes" i had to do before I could get a perfect video lol. I'm not perfect.
@GreenAshR47 heh*) =] I sure appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. I may have to redo this performance though... seeing that I rushed the piece tremendously in this vdeo a year late after posting.
Hey, great job - I love this piece! I play the Hess transcription, but really like your one. Can you tell me more about the version you have - who transcribed it and the sheet music details as I'd love to get it. Thanks and well done.
@wembleybear Hi, Wembley Bear.. unfortunately.. I no longer have the sheet music since I can play it for memory now... but I DO remember that this arrangement was by Beatrice A. Miller. Hope that helps!
i play the piano at the beginer level and i know how to play this song this is one of the easiest songs to play on the piano, the skill level to play this is not high compared to other classical songs, but the song is still a masterpiece, and a divine inspired piece of art
you are an excellent pianst. You should try the Myra Hess arrangement. It is the arrangement played by Dinu Lipatti, Angela Hewitt, Gerard Havengeld, Myra Hess and many other concert pianists. There are other arrangements by Wilhelm Kempff, and Bauer, but none have the flow or musical integrity of the Hess arrangement. Check out myra hess playing her arrangement on youtube :)
Great playing...in my opinion the best piano arrangement of this piece is by Harold Bauer...sounds great on a concert grand....you should check it out.
Hey, ptrams1976. Thanks a lot :) - Harold Bauer.. I will have to look that up.. because I like this piece a lot.. and wouldn't mind finding THE BEST arrangement.
love it, so nice to listen to and watch. i'm learning this piece myself though it's slightly simpler and maybe shorter than yours. thank you!

I only played part of this song in my piano recital. Maybe cause it was too long my teacher shortened it?
ANYWAYS I really wanted to learn how to play the rest. You're very good :)
