  • nice looking dog looks like he was having fun. How old was he in the video

  • The Johnson line is not close to the original bulldog. His line had mastiff, boxer, dogue de bordeaux, and pretty much anything that had bulldog in it. That's why he had to name them Johnson bulldog instead of American bulldog.

  • how old was max when he was able to do this? or anyone know how old johnson's tend to be when they can do this?? i have an 8 month old johnson cross who can just about hold his own weight, is this good/bad???

  • 8 months is too young u need to let his muscles develope properly or u will cause problems dwn the line, im no expert like, but i think its like 18 months around that time wen u can start doin things like this.

  • thanks very much, he's 11 months now and coming along nicely, will be trying him again on the pole in summer...

  • how much does your bulldog weigh, mine is now 10 1/2 - 11 months old now and wieghs 85-90 lbs

  • @alpha3265: mine is 12 months and over 110lbs, but he's half dogue de bordeuax, still very athletic for his weight tho, id rather him not get any bigger as long as hes healthy tho

  • Lovely dog i have an american bulldog can you check out the vids of my lil pup and tell me what ya think. tah

  • you have a good looking dog and damn hella strong dog

  • Nah the english bulldog USED to look like this till mid 1800s they were then banned in England because STUPID dickless idiots started animal baiting with them. The rest were bred to PUGS to create the modern English bulldog. Their loss America's gain, settlers had been bringing them here mostly the U.S. south for generations. So like it or not, now they are AMERICAN Bulldogs. Euthanize punk ass idiots who fight their dogs, instead of killing the dog!

  • @sliver727 The same thing is happening with pitbulls now

  • @sliver727 Real bulldogs look nothing like this. this thing just looks sloppy, no functionality.

  • @ConiferTreez

Like YOU'D know. Hey, whenever you get a chance, I'm STILL awaiting word on the process by which you hunt "big cats" down in Panama with your dogs. Funny, your inability to expound on your silly claim.

  • @sliver727 Euthanize idiots who know half a story then make the other half up,the bulldog wasnt banned at all in england, the sport of bullbaiting was banned, and the dogs had no use,and thus was born the pit bulldog, bred to fight other dogs because bullbaiting had been made illegal but dog fighting hadnt,up until the ban on bullbaiting there was laws in certain english towns that beef couldnt be sold unless it had been baited before it died,it added to the flavour and quality of the meat,go read.

  • @jihaad

HOW A LION FIGHT CAUSED ENGLAND

TO STOP THE BREEDING OF BOTH RING AND PIT BULLDOGS

From American Bulldog Association website and reprinted from American Bulldog Review

  • @sliver727 we had lions in england did we ,i see ,i read once of a monkey being tied to the back of a bull and the dogs then baiting both animals but never have i read or heard of a dog fighting a lion in england, where do you get this stuff? the internet or from inside your own mind?

  • @jihaad

If you read my post it states my source . The American Bulldog Registry site. I posted it in case you or anyone was interested, but all you are interested in doing is behaving like a pathetic, garden variety, internet, rage aholic. How old are you anyway? 12? You my dear, are a bore, and I'm done wasting my time corresponding with your sad, little angry self.

  • top dog max

  • Is there much differences between Johnson and standard ABs?? in temperament, activity levels, protectiveness etc.??

  • 4:01 lmfao beautiful dog!

  • lol didnt realise how big that dog was til the guy stood next to him!

  • what a clown...whats good about this video any dog with bull in it can do this and ffs bet the bloke felt right good saying look at me dog

  • The Johnson line is as close to the original Bulldog line as your gonna get.

It didnt just end up in the US, we saved it!

Im not a fan of the English Bulldog, it was never meant to be a lap Dog!

  • CompoundFIghtClub,

Incorrect. Johnson bred ABs are far from original bulldogs. The Old Southern White line of ABs is closest to the original. Check out Ralph Citarella's dogs if you've never seen that line. You can check his webpage. Do a google search for WHITE KNIGHT AMERICAN BULLDOGS.

  • @CompoundFightClub The American Bulldog was developed using white english bulldogs, descendents of alano espanols brought to Florida by the Spanish hundreds of years ago.

  • @neurocytohemotoxic I think that Johnson probably used large percentage of developing his strain of bulldog. The georgia giant is a huge strain of WEB which was probably developed by crossing Alanos to Spanish Mastiffs (also called the Mastin Espanol).

  • @CompoundFightClub The original bulldogs still exist in Spain.

  • I think people should stop calling it the american bulldog ,,,,,,,,this dog originates from england it was used for fighting vs bulls and for hunting ,,it was called a bulldog or a butchers bulldog ,,bullbaiting got banned and the dog was lost for use,,then one day the dog Turns AMERICAN :(

  • Its called an American Bulldog because the breed changed when it got to the US.

  • jihaad = dumb shit!!!

  • nah i think he johnson

  • i have a girrl dog she lookes allot like him but shes an american jhonston bull terriorr :D

  • he is an american bulldog hydrid, this means he has standard and classic lines in his pedigree.

  • hi i have been looking at your site and was wondering how much you puppys are

  • HYbrid? what is he mixed with?

  • beautifull..

    this is a hibryd ?

  • He sure is!

  • @cccaravanserai
