Thanks a lot bro! My son has been showing signs of Asperger's and rage for over a year now. We have just recently learned that he may have Asperger's, and I sought out videos looking for help in dealing with the rage and tantrums he has, and found yours. Great little video and very informative. Thanks again!
Another thing parents (and other adults) should try to understand is that there is a difference between "negative" behavior that is a result of sensory overload, frustration, poor communication, impulsiveness, etc. and actual "bad behavior." Arguing over the first thing is only going to exacerbate the behavior. Picking fights over ASD symptoms will not "correct" the ASD symptoms, and can even create feelings of worthlessness and resentment. Recognize and respect your child's limitations.
Gotta have my boyfriend watch this video too... he's constantly following me around if I'm bothered by anything, then wonders why I'm even more mad at him or why I meltdown when he's followed me around for 10 minutes already :P
