I can't hear anything anybody says these days so I relate! Either everyone is mumbling or I'm "loosing" my hearing too! But I can hear every mistake my piano students make even when I'm out of the room.

@quaverbox haha i should have checked the spelling! sadly i'm losing my hearing as well. i was out the other night at a pub and someone was sitting a foot away from me and i just had to stop and say, 'i literally cannot hear anything you've just said..' so yeah i'm always telling kids these days to wear ear plugs, or Hearos or just something that'll save their ears for later!

Im not sure what the terms and conditions are, so while the Knox competition is in progress I think ill have to refrain from accepting any funds though.. james nice vid... simple affective and too true, im 27yo and have lived without my hearing aids for a little over two years now, makes it hard to find work or hold down work... not to mention centrestink thinks its nothing so no assistance there... best wishes and i would love to be kept posted on your progress

@Inkygillies thanks so much! yeah i never knew how hard it was to live without hearing at 100%.. makes it difficult for everyone around. mum keeps hearing words wrong and you can almost *see* her brain ticking over just to try and string sentences together at times. especially consonants - she hears words that are rhyme and phonetically sound the same (or end in the same sound). frustrating for her for sure and you just feel isolated (so she's told me) if we just go, oh don't worry :(
