WOW. just wow, do you know how hard this song is? Only legendary singer SPB could've done it n i dont know if he can even sing it live. A normal tamil singer wouldn't attempt this song as its so difficult. M so proud. I don't know half the words from this song, to think all of u guys did it with ease jus wow. Amazing.

@instixp The schools in the Eugene/Springfield Oregon come together every year for this festival. Its at the beginning of the year. About 580 students in all. All the schools' top choirs show there stuff by singing a couple songs with our respected choirs. And then when the festival comes to its close we sing two song together as a combined choir. Right at the beginning of the  year, the students are given the sheet music for the songs that are picked by a guest conductor. Its a tradition

My high school choir is working on this piece, so I decided to search youtube and see if I could find a good recording to help me memorize my part and make sure I was pronouncing everything correctly. This is a very good recording of the song, and I'm glad to know that it comes from my own state and only a few hours drive from where I'm at. The choir that I'm in does the song a bit faster, which makes it very difficult to do the "sadugudu" bit. I really like this slower version.

@Aravindloveu He was originally going to have us do Jai Ho from Slumdog, but the sheet music that existed for such a big choir wasn't legal, per say. So he ended up choosing this one as a last minute thing. He assumed it would be easy, and chose the song before he went abroad. One the flight back he reviewed the music and claimed he nearly had a heart attack. I'm proud it came out the way it did, that was my last metro festival

This language is tamil and its my language too. Songs from a south indian tamil movie... Omg i get goosebumos each time i see this... Me an all my tamil friends/family absolutely love love LOVE this performance... I dont know if you know but different versions of this performance is circulating among the tamils in facebook and such. You guys are famous now between tamils ALL over the world!!! I think its so cool Dr. Steven Zielke selected this song.

@papulapz thanks I was part of this its a combitnation of choirs from the district of Oregon. We do this concert every year. Its a tradition. We all sing 2 mass peices and its made up of at least 540 students. I am so glad you enjoyed.
