Kinda cool they swapped back to the Soviet-era uniforms. But now with post-Soviet symbols and badges. This looks way better than those all-green uniforms they used before this parade.
This parade in 2008 was the first big one since 1990. It revived a tradition of yearly big military parades on Red Square. Since 2008, the parades have gotten bigger and bigger with more armor. Expect more in the coming years. The only difference is that now, the yearly parades are held on May 9 (Victory Day) instead of November 7 (which was the date of the 1917 Revolution).
They need to speed up that flag procession. It is kind of boring. Also, I can understand the parading of the banner of victory but not really the russian tri-color. They should march 120 steps a minute (standard for parade) and only march the banner of victory.

Why is Russia not admitted as a member of NATO?
That's pure bullshit.
If Russia was in NATO, NATO would be the world's greatest superpower.

@squizzoo Because Russia hates NATO:( I think its all to do with the way on he Cold War NATO opposed the Soviets in everything :(

lol @ Serdyukov @ 9:29 when the car was going over the bump. I admire these defense ministers' balance when it comes to these parades.

@buran225 All the minister of defense do not need balance as the have a stand at his left and he grabs it to stand properly.
