Cliched tirades like these commenters' are so wrong. Insurance companies, unlike injury lawyers, are paid up-front, then deny payments or underpay claims -- THERE'S the con. Lawyers are like cops in a way: People dislike them until they need one. Then they're glad to have them. Without injury lawyers, big insurance and big pharmaceuticals get fatter while the average person loses. Again, THERE'S the con. I mean, how naive can you get?
