I saw someone else make it through this game with NO sword at all, and when he reached Ganon, the game automatically put the Magic Sword in the A box. I don't know why that didn't happen here.

@Silliconian ah lol yes i see, i was just randomly posting on different youtube videos. i play on a NES console as well, but looking at different videos on youtube makes me wanna play more games.

@Thomsongamer There are ways to get USB to NES adapters. You'll have to look for them though. Suggest you try ebay. Also, you might just try a standard USB controller. Most of them are pretty good.

Wow, somebody actually made a HARDER version of the 3 Heart, No Sword Challenge! And you almost made it look easy!

One thing, though. Among the things you said you needed in this challenge is the silver arrow.

You didn't really NEED it, since you already can't beat Ganon without a sword.

Silver Arrows you can find into the Level-9, but is impossible to have them to complete Level-6, you must complete Level-6 with bombs ONLY! To kill the boss use normal arrows.

How did you end up entering Ganon's dungeon with only three hearts considering you gain a heart from every boss you beat up until dungeon 9? Did you use game genie code? This is a really hardcore video by the way! Great job dude!!!

Don't take any hearts after you defeat a boss, skip the heart and take the Triforce...easy. :) No Game Genie codes in the game, really, this is a very good accomplishment, Thank you!

but i thought that the first bosses heart blocks the way without collecting it?

In the boss of Castle 1, through the boss and use 2 bombs to destroy him, so you will skip this heart.

Why doen;t the paths to the secret rooms show. The rooms themselves never show but the paths do, since they aren't shutter door's pah you missed the red ring room.

Strange rules, Lanmola isn't a Boss character, Moldorm however definately is.

HELP! I can't figure out how to beat the Level 4 boss without a sword! I tried arrows, bombs, candle... what works?

the level 4 boss cannot be defeated without the rod, you have to move on until you get the rod, also, in level 6, the same boss is half way through, so you'll have to bomb an alternate path around it until you get the magic rod (i'm hoping to record a no sword run through myself sooner or later)

That would be cool. I was finally able to beat the game with no sword- got to Ganon and died. And BOY was it hard!! I went into Level 6 with just 8 bombs and was able to get the Wizzrobes to drop a few bombs on the way through (thankfully!) Very very impressive what you've done, now that I've attempted the same thing. I don't know how you pulled off Labyrinth 9 so easily!

to show the challenge was met, if you read the description you'd know, ganon cannot be killed without a sword, so he paused to show he made it into every room, and then he showed that he couldn't win, and then died.

I don't understand how you can kill anything without the sword at the beginning. How can you get the wand if you can't kill anything? How do you get bombs? ...?

Easy, collect 100 Rupies in Notheast, buy 8 Bombs and Arrow in the Shop, go to the Level-1 and take the Bow...over! To win more bombs? Kill enemies into the dungeon that he drops or buy in any shop. Now, is not easy take the Wand in level-6....Very Hard!
