  • You gotta kiss the fuel tank mate, too much drag otherwise.

  • I havent been penalised yet so i guess not might see ya down there ;)

  • I've got an 06' Bandit, hoping to take it to the Motorplex one Wednesday for a rap! Question: Do you get penalised if the front wheel comes up on the launch?

  • Fun to watch. I think I'd have a little trouble launching as my Bandit wants to wheelie . Are you slipping the clutch to keep the front end down ? Also I noticed on my '09 it seems to stop pulling around 8.5k rpm . Is that why you said tou should have shifted sooner . Really great video , thanks !

  • Jaxen9084 Thanks for your comments. Have you seen my other video? (Head cam)

I bought my bike about a month before these videos were made and didn’t want to lay it down. I was a bit soft on my launches but i had a best reaction time of .020 and I also found that the way i was ridding the bike was wrong . If you look at the helmet cam you can see i am reving the bike to hard all of the power is down low and midrange, short shifting the key. Best for that night was 11.5 come on 10s

  • Remember one of the first motorcycle magazines I ever bought... a 1980 Cycle World buyers guide. The Suzuki GS1100 was the "King of Superbikes." With a professional rider, it would do 11.10 at 120 mph. Can only imagine a Bandit 1250 is better in every way. Lighter, liquid cooled, higher compression and bigger displacement and fuel injected. Keep up the good work. It should crack the 10's. Still, a beautiful bike.
