The reason that we are in huge deficit is because of the lack of fiscal responsiblity of the Bush Administration. The Bush admin. gave irresponsible tax cuts to the richest Americans. Before Bush, the country was in annual surplus. We were PAYING DOWN DEBT. Now after 8 years of Bush, our country is almost a trillion dollars deeper in debt. While it's true that if he breaks the $250000 mark, he'll enter a higher tax level, the tax is same as it was before Bush's tax cuts for the rich, lower than under Reagan. McCain will tax health insurance for Joe's employees, so even making $250,000 Joe may in fact be taxed less than under McCain.

Diplomatic pressure doesnt mean "sitting down to have a friendly talk with leaders." Thats just ignorant, it isn't what applying diplomatic pressure means.
Diplomatic pressure means building a strong coalition of allies, garnering support from ALL COUNTRIES, building strength through support from allies in the region & all world powers to create a force of economic & military pressure on enemies so that you don't turn your back on your enemy, & you win the war without firing a shot.

I'm afraid for America, not because of what will happen if either John McCain or Obama become president, but I'm afraid because of what the kind of fear and hate tactics used by the McCain campaign are doing to America. They are playing to the worst elements in people, playing up and inciting fear and hate and creating division.
McCain has said repeatedly that he knows Obama and that Obama is a good man, but his campaign continues to spread lies that prey on ignorant people to incite hate.

The truth is, in the most recent poll of Israelis & Israeli Americans, the majority favored Obama for President: 37% for Obama, 28% for McCain.
The truth is, the Bush foreign policy in the middle east has fanned the flames of anti-american sentiment in the volatile region & made Israel less safe. Iraq, which had no weapons of mass destruction and didn't pose a significant threat to Israel is now weaker, and Iran has more influence in the region than ever.

Obama said clearly that IT IS NOT AN OPTION TO ALLOW IRAN TO DEVELOP NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES. But the fact is, the Bush policy of ignoring Iran and North Korea's leaders have made the SITUATION WORSE. Arrogant blindness & the Bush refusal to use diplomatic pressure to stop nuclear advance have ACCELERATED NORTH KOREA'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM.

What Obama actually said was that we need to have the strength to talk to our enemies. He did not say that Iran is a "tiny country". He said, in response to McCain's claim that we shouldn't talk to Iran that "We need to talk to our enemies. Iran and North Korea are tiny compared to the Soviet Union, they did not pose the kind of threat to us the way the Soviet Union did, and yet we talked to the Soviet Union."

Does every generation deserve a "Jimmy Carter" to realize how naive they are? Obama has many of the same character flaws of Carter not to mention the populist appeal. When Carter left office back in the late 70's our country's economy was in a mess, interest rates were above 20 percent and the Iran was holding Americans as hostages. In later years, and in his own words, J. Carter admitted his distain for the Jews and frequently sided with the Palestinians on most issues. Obama=Carter!

We can't start another war. We barely have anything to spare in Iraq to send to Afghanistan as it is. A war with Iran isn't feasible and Congress knows it.

If John McCain is disagreeing with Obama's entire statement (not just the short clip used here) then he thinks that Iran is a greater threat than the USSR was during the height of the Cold War!
A country with thousands of nuclear weapons aimed at America ready to launch at a moment's notice OR a country that may develop a nuclear weapon in three to five years...which is the bigger threat?
