Hey I liked the basis of the storyline at least. If you would of made some changes and make it a more serious environment it would've been great. I agree with you on the part of completely removing the love interest between Sonic and the princess. I honestly think what threw people off was not only that but that they made her look too realistic which raised up the creepy level xD.
Alright let's get real here, Sonic the Hedgehog 06 had a good storyline and you could see they wanted a more serious approach with sonic, the gameplay was great but it needed much more polishing. The loading screens were a bitch since you could practically take a shower and come back and it would still load and the voice acting was pretty solid. If they would of fixed all of these things then the game could be pretty decent.

You see, the game has shitty loading times, and they're frequent as fuck (because the game tries to load the entirety of Soleanna for ONE goddamn mission explanation). The glitches are frequent, obvious, and gamebreaking. The story is ass, and overall, the game is an unfinished mess, literally. It was rushed due to pressure from MS and Sony to release it for both Christmas and the PS3 release.

I got it with a game that I adored so much and it was Sonic Adventures Director's Cut. It was the best game i ever had and its still is now. Chronicles was an epic RPG that I had alot of fun playing.
Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 were fun, I loved playing them with a friend, and I enjoyed it.
@legocommander208 Well, 2006 was great! Because it introduced many new gameplay perks... And Sonic and the Secret Rings had new innovative WiiMote controls, and a compelling storyline. Sonic and the Black Knight introduced a new way to play as Sonic, including being the true "King Arthur" and weilding Excalibur as Excalibur Sonic. And Sonic Colors introduced multiple powers to him, making gameplay strategic. And last but not least, Sonic Generations, a gem in itself, taking us back...

I didn't mind Black Knight, but it did have it's moments of clunky controls, and how it's too damn linear! I don't want to go only back and forth, I want to explore the world!
@DEVONtheShaymin I really wouldn't say 06 was great, let alone, or brought anything new to the table. It incorporated Adventure elements but fell short sadly.
Rings did bring in some new controls, and would set the blueprints for the future Sonic gameplay to follow. Followed by Unleashed, improving it. Werehog is not that bad.
Colors pretty much perfected that style of gameplay and Generations nailed it and brought us back.
I dunno where BK falls in though, I never played it unfortunately.

I agree. I own the game and (even though it is glitchy) only the sonic story line is gay. I enjoyed all three game plays and the music is pretty kick-ass.
@lastfortress its not really FTL. In Sonic Adventure he gets a pair of light speed shoes that lets his do a light speed dash along a line of rings to get to places you couldn't normally get to.

@legocommander208 You're forgetting about Sonic Rush Adventures, and Sonic Unleashed was one of the best sonic games of that time, why do you assume SU sucked? Also, Riders was a fun racing game with excellent replay-ability.
Chronicles was an epic RPG that I had alot of fun playing.
Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 were fun, I loved playing them with a friend, and I enjoyed it.

@legocommander208 Well, 2006 was great! Because it introduced many new gameplay perks... And Sonic and the Secret Rings had new innovative WiiMote controls, and a compelling storyline. Sonic and the Black Knight introduced a new way to play as Sonic, including being the true "King Arthur" and weilding Excalibur as Excalibur Sonic. And Sonic Colors introduced multiple powers to him, making gameplay strategic. And last but not least, Sonic Generations, a gem in itself, taking us back...

@DEVONtheShaymin Actually, 2006 wasn't great, it had many game glitches, at times it was unplayable, and sure, some people had fun, but just because you had 'fun', doesn't hide the fact that the game is clunky and full of glitches, so from a critical point of view? It's a terrible, terrible game.

@DEVONtheShaymin You're also only naming 5 out of the many games he's had during the years, and, as I said before, they aren't really all that great, Sonic ATSR Sucked because of the linear gameplay, and how boring and tedious it is to play through the game.
I didn't mind Black Knight, but it did have it's moments of clunky controls, and how it's too damn linear! I don't want to go only back and forth, I want to explore the world!

@DEVONtheShaymin I really wouldn't say 06 was great, let alone, or brought anything new to the table. It incorporated Adventure elements but fell short sadly.
Rings did bring in some new controls, and would set the blueprints for the future Sonic gameplay to follow. Followed by Unleashed, improving it. Werehog is not that bad.
Colors pretty much perfected that style of gameplay and Generations nailed it and brought us back.
I dunno where BK falls in though, I never played it unfortunately.

XD or when Eggman says "NOTHING WILL STOP MEEEE!" then sonic says "who you callin' nothing?" XD

I prefer Zebrahead's version... I LOVE Zebrahead and I have a soft spot for Crush 40 just because of how awesome they are and their music for Sonic helped define my childhood.. But really? Between the two versions of this song there is no contest for me. Zebrahead's version is the best.

I agree. I own the game and (even though it is glitchy) only the sonic story line is gay. I enjoyed all three game plays and the music is pretty kick-ass.

@lastfortress its not really FTL. In Sonic Adventure he gets a pair of light speed shoes that lets his do a light speed dash along a line of rings to get to places you couldn't normally get to.
