The reason that these too didnt end up together on the show is becuz outside of the show they were married and he cheated on her and they split up and divorced the writers then felt that it would be to hard for them to have all the chemistry on the camera becuz of what happened in their own lives so thats why they made lucas and peyton together
you guys do know the scence,where brooke tries to confort peyton and say " it has always been lucas and peyon!" i swear i love brooke and i love them more than edward and bella. but i can tbelieve she siad that!!..and as she cried in leyton'S wedding..i'm sure deep down she was wishing she would wear that white dress and say "i do" to lucas,not peyton !
