Stimmt schon, das iPad (und seine kleinen Brüder) stinkt ab, da ihm Flash einfach schon immer gefehlt hat.

Überall im Netz hat es Flash-Objekte und mit dem Ding zu surfen macht ohne Flash echt nicht so viel Spaß.

Muss ich da noch erwähnen, dass es viele iOS-Spiele auch als Flashversion im Internet gibt, die das Flashpad ganz gut wiedergeben kann?

@toasterthegamer Don't believe so, but it's kind of pointless since the TouchPad has a low resolution (1024x768) screen and it doesn't have any form of video output. It would actually make a lot more sense for the iPad to play 1080p videos, since it can do video out via a (very expensive) HDMI adapter.

If you are a developer you shoud know that html5/css3/js are not in the same stage as Flash. And as for hardware accelaretion that I said before maybe thats the problem when you said that flash is slow, because if you use a iMac you shoud know that hardware accelerated flash in not or poorly supported.

Thats why I said that I have no probems with flash with low spec hardware in windows environment. And again you need to see 1080p flash video on ultra low spec Atom, its crazy.

It is the only thing that constantly creates security problems in modern Browsers. Flash has only one legit purpose: Live Streams. And this wont be for long. Everything else can be done way better(more performant, without a plugin, with less battery drain) with "native" web-technologies(HTML5, CSS3 and JS). That is a proven fact.

And even that is a good example: View you ohsocool HD Video on a laptop with flash and watch youre battery go to hell, after that, watch it with HTML5 video: you will save easily 25-50% battery. Slow is completely different from runs vs runs not.

@pedronunogarcia this is interesting since i am a web developer too. HTML5 wont replace Flash no. HTML CSS3 and JS will. Why? Because they are good. Because they do not need a plugin. Because they are a standard. Hardware acceleration? Yeah, i know that, Chrome, Firefox and IE are using them to make CSS3 Animations way more smooth than Flash. Flash is dead. Why? Because the future of the web lies on the mobile market and guess what, flash doesnt work well(hardly ever) on mobiles.

Flash does have an extremely long code, which makes it a bit of a pain to implement or develop for, and although I do think that HTML5 is the replacement for it, there simply aren't enough sites that have switched to it and for the next few years Flash will still be still an essential. 95% of graphic intensive sites use flash, and although many are switching over, there simply aren't enough using HTML5 for it to become mainstream and for Flash to become completely obsolete.
