Clinton and Reagan were both governors for 10+ years. Carter was governor for 5 plus 4 years in the State House. GW Bush was governor for about 7 years.

As governor she passed a tax increase on oil company profits, created a sub-cabinet advisory group to address climate change and gave a budget surplus right back to her taxpayers (a surplus she added to by selling her predecessor's private jet that was paid for by the state's taxpayers). She seems to be more reformer than republican.
