new melee weapons :katana(samurai sword),axe,frying pan,machete,nightstick (police stick),guitar (LOL),chainsaw,baseball bat (pre-order)

new bombs : bile bomb (boomer vomit),

health stuff:adrenaline shot,(stuff to revive dead players) DEAD PLAYERS)

Well finally the Demo came out, and I must admit I was fairly impressed, Graphics are improved, it's not just the same fat guy being the boomer and so on, but as someone pointed out to me the characters and enviroment isn't like the l4d where you get the sense of realizm, l4d2 is more like a typical hollywood movie, where everyone likes eachother, the old characters are a lot more believeable.

Is it just me or does it look more cartoonish? especially the zombies, what I like about left 4 dead is that it looks quite good, so I would have hoped they would have improved the graphics a little.

Notice I posed it as a question, while yes there is way more variations, I didn't see any improved graphics when the boomer arrived? I believe you just saw a few new zombies and declared better graphics. You mention the "greyness" of l4d1 to me that's a part of what I like about l4d it's suppose to be a dark game, people are dead so they are suppose to look dead-ish, but it didn't take a year to lighten up the textures of a few zombies.
