What the heck's do ya mean MMXC fake pages? I ain't posted this or nothin' on Facebook... Looks like someone's either trying to steal my work, or spread the word on it.
Even if the forrmer, there's a part of me that's glad that it's good enough that someone wants to make people think they made it. I'll look and see what's going on.
Also, just checked out your channel and just now found out about Mega Man X corruption. Looks like a pretty neat fan game.
Yep, just found it. Definitely not me, and the guy either isn't a native English speaker, or he's a kid. I have no idea if he's claiming it to be his own, or is just posting it thinking it's relevant to that project (which he's on the wrong page for as you've said).
Oh well, I'll just update the description and state that if this video is linked to from other locations, and I haven't specified any exceptions, then it wasn't linked to by me.
Well, I had to do a lot of modifying. I had to split each channel with harmonies up into each individual channel, and make sure no more than 8 notes were playing at a time to fit it into the SNES limitations. I also split sections of channels into other channels with different instruments to simulate the SNES' ability to switch samples mid-song (an example of this is the electric pianos in the background switch to synth strings halfway through the song).
I sometimes go overboard in describing things, but I just wanted to drive home the point to the people watching that this is actually within the SNES' limitations, whereas there are many videos with "SNES remixes" that actually are MIDIs with SNES samples tossed in randomly.
All I have to say is perhaps the rising note shortly after the start could go a little sharper. Other than that it feels like the original Megaman X and thats winrar! Imagine Chill Penguin with this theme....
You should make more of these. I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

I love how the fake screenshot borrows the background from Crystal Snail's stage in MMX2.

Very rarely do MIDIs with SNES instruments randomly plugged into them sound good, but this is one of those exceptions! Nice fakeshot too! Hahah

So the short response is that this WASN'T "randomly plugged in" but rather actually took some careful editing. =^p
