Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix Booting on 1st Generation Acer Aspire One

I had xp on my zepto znote, and it ran okaay... BUT after i installed ubuntu Netbook remix, I could see the icons better because they are bigger, and the hole menu is great for small computeres.

and you're right i can boot faster than any other pc in my class :D

i have acer aspire one 1gig of ram 160gig hdd dualbooted with win xp home and ubuntu 9.04 not netbook remix its been installed with an external cd drive

I have the same AA1 as you, 512MB, SSD and I'm downloading the Ubuntu 9.04 NBR atm. Takes quite a while to boot up, Linpus takes less than 15s, however Ubuntu is a lot better.
