You cant judge lyrics. Everybody has different opinions on lyrics. I think the song flesh into gear by cky has some of the best lyrics I have ever heard. Someone listen to it and lets see if they think the same.
wow, I totally agree! the only song i don't like is "don't lie", but the others a really really good. there are some more songs like that, for example bon jovi & michael jackson
Thank you :-) But Bohemian Rhapsody by The Queen... honestly deserves first place; Thank you Freddy Mercury, there will NEVER be another singer like you!
Hey man, The Man Who Sold The World was actually by David Bowie...Nirvana just did a cover...which i must say Nirvana did a bit better...no offence to the Bowie fans lol.
First I know a bunch of these songs and so do my friends and I'm in Middle School...You don't have to be old to love these songs and Nirvana came out in the 90s and Evanescence in the 00s and RHCP are NOT from fifty years ago...more like born 50 years ago lol ,Black Eyed Peas are from the 90s AND 00's and WTF Eminem wasn't even alive 50 years ago...
It's because of people like you that music now sucks, "Great" music stopped being made in the 90s because of the media and the MTV lifestyle that is ruining everything that used to be good about music. You're a f4cking loser, go play guitar hero and be a sad lonely person.
I like some of the songs. beatles, elton, who, nirvana. no offence man but some one needs to introduce you to bob dylan, jim morrison, beck, brad nowels, jimi hendrix, immortal technique, and other people. songs like hotel california do not need to be in this list. its just an example how over hype and over playing songs can make decent songs "classics"
honestly man, good songs i think you would dig bob dylan, bro. if youre into lyrics bob is the best of the best
Well said. Keep in mind however that this list is nearly a year old, and my taste in music has definitely grown since then. If I were to make this again today, it would be much different.
And you're right about Dylan. Back then I knew nothing of him, and he's now one of my favorites.
in hotel california... i think u should put the song where this lyrics come in... "u cn chck out anytime u wnt, bt ucnt nver leave" bcoz i luv that part..,.
I think "Where Is the Love?" from the Black Eyed Peas should be in there over "Don't Lie". Better song and lyrics too in my opinion. Unbelievable list though. Also, if Stan's on there, Lose Yourself should be too.
You've got an awsome taste in music! Love your choices! :) Even the eminem and black eyed peas choice wasn't bad at all :D but maybe I would rearrange the order of them :D
Like a rolling stone; On a plain; Have a cigar; Welcome to the jungle; Redemption Song; London´s calling , Strawberry Fields , Ten years gone ;People are Strange ; Castles made of sand ...
If you are talking about lyrical, then you have a long way to go!
The list is full of great songs, but when it comes to lyrics, there are many better. Imagine is great, and so is Boheman Rhapsody when it comes to lyrics. And you have some of the best in your list.
Great Gig in the Sky? ;)

wcusa 3 years ago
well u are closer, but its not even from bowie xDD...1 more step
d00mr4zr 3 years ago
No. I just researched it to double check, and it is a Bowie song.
wcusa 3 years ago
nah..bowie was a kid when that song was made..trust me dude...search more
d00mr4zr 3 years ago
Well then who do you say wrote the song?
wcusa 3 years ago
Uh, it IS David Bowie. Who do you think it is? If David Bowie was just a kid, then it was a song from the '40s or '50s.
