Hi Can you tell me for the burst training, how often should I do it? how long should I do it per training session? Will jump rope do the job? thank you
I currently do this on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays after my weights training ... My question is that if i went for steady rate cardio during tuesdays and thursdays, like swimming for 20mins, will that affect my fat loss ?
yeah i did this stupid shit and now my knee is out. so guess what folks i cant do cardio this week at all. small tip don't do this stuff, it feels great but it will leave you messed up
Most people have no clue HOW to run at all, which explains most knee injuries: Run on the balls of your feet like a Velociraptor. You should NEVER, EVER land on your damn heels when running full sprint, as it transfers impact straight up to the knees. Very light people can get away with the usual cockroach-stomping, heel-smashing run style simply because their mass is too light to cause damage. If you have reasonable body mass (200lbs or more) you'll get stress fractures.
Hey dude would you burn more callories by doing this technique than running for 20 mins with some 30 sec sprints ? and how many of these should i do in the 10 or so mins ?
I would also do this after my weights session to burn even more fat !

@brdonaldson Burst training emulates natural fight-or-flight response, in the sense that it uses up glycogen stores in your muscles extremely fast. This is akin to our ancestors being attacked while eating, drinking in watering holes and sleeping and having to jumpstart metabolic response in a flash to get clear or risk dying. Studies have shown that heart and artery as well as red blood cell adaptation responds better (even for endurance) to burst training than stready-state.
i did this and increased the incline i was sore the next day like i did squats and booty lifts. My legs were sore. this is a good workout. I dont like sprinting outside.
This is nt a good thing to be doing. If your not careful you could totaly smash into the floor.
Also, I would say 60 120s are better jog for two minutes and then sprit for 1. Your heart rate will stay up. Do this on a track not a tredmill. Tredmills give no resistance the good old ground with gravity does, this will work the muscles which will burn more fat. More muscle = needs more energy. Your muscle will burn the fat off.
