My husband and I first rode this merry-go-round in the early 1940's when we were very young children. Just the name "Glen Echo" still stirs up so many memories! Once I had a little friend whose uncle operated this ride. He let us ride as many times as we wanted one evening. It was heavenly to us kids!

I posted a 1966 radio spot on Glen Echo when it was an amusement park.

That makes four of us.
The tune playing on the Wurlitzer 165 is "Eveline" from roll 6538.
