this is the worst computer EVER!!!!!!!! Dont like it, HATE IT!!!! this $5,000 piece of crap breaks SOOOO much. In less than five years, it has broken 5 times. All were Power Issues. 2 were Motherboard. 2 were Hard drives. And everything else once. HMMMMM i wish my warranty didn't go out. Dell is soooooooooo cheap. The Only good thing is it runs smoothly. When it isn't breaking.
The only thing i would use if i had it would be the case itself, and the heatsink, which is probably specialized so you cant use it with anything else.
Wrong. H2C combines a two-stage liquidradiator, thermoelectric cooling module (peltier effect), with normal water cooling all self contained in one unit. Pefect for people with no time/experience with water cooling/overclocking.
Stop being such an apple tool you dunce.I own a gaming PC and a macbook so you're mac fanboyness can't hurt me.
SLI 8800's is like 4x your little x1900 XT and supports DX10. XEON processors do ZERO for gaming so you got owned. More ram=more programs you can run. People only buy that much for HD video editing. Although I would never buy a dell because I build custom PCs I get way better prices for what I need for high end gaming. You are the type of person who reads a brochure for info, a tool.
this is a thermal electric (TEC) aka peltier cooler..not that impressive. basically the same thing as the coolit freezone/eliminator. i dont trust TEC's because they can have occasional problems with moisture buildup around the cpu. stick to water cooling (leaktested for 2+ hours of course) and a very nice air cooler.
Dell offers some good discounts on their PC's and you must remember there are a few reasons the XPS systems cost more. They're are most likely built by Americans. You get special and dedicated support. I do like Dell's cooling. I have an elegant case that rarely gets hot.
dell xps's rip ppl off so much, i can get the same parts, maybe better, for cheaper, but im not saying this pc sucks, its for ppl with alot of money, and too lazy to build there own pc
Thing is, can you find a cooler like the h2c? That's probably why most people that can already build a computer would want to buy the 710 h2c edition.
mmm, although, it isnt as good as it could of been, if it was any better, then there would be no need to go for alienware ALX. Namely, the motherboard is not as new as it should be (590, and it should be the 680), and the RAM isnt quick enough for a supposed, ultimate gaming machine at this price. Still awsome but
An XPS Cooler? Now that will help it from over heating unlike there last XPS 710 model. They could of upgraded there motherboared so in the far future it can handle new grphics card. And yay! First comment.
Is CNet bankrupt now for buying this product that cannot be named?

This system isnt even worth 400 dollars now.

hmm....mac pro 3.0GHz 8core Intel Xeon
8GB (8 x 1GB)of RAM
250GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (2 x dual-link DVI)
One 16x SuperDrive @ $6,934.00 which is better than the dell! the dell has a quad core, and 4GB of RAM @ a price of $6,779. that dell is a rip-off.

ur silly, it only cools the cpu, vid cards are cooled buy stock, still too hot, and the ram, hot!, im not saying it looks ugly, just a major rip off
lonelyfag15 4 years ago
Oh well then, it's not my problem if someone buys it... they might as well put the h2c cooler out for sale buy itself.
