Sure the super heavyweights have gotten alot better and that might make it a bit more difficult.
But i think the biggest problem is that Fedor is getting older. He fought so many times now and he doesn't have that edge he had before both psyicaly and mentaly.
He is 34 now and he just don't fight same same way as he did before. The same happend with Cro Cop, Nougeira, Sakuraba and Wanderlei.
They just don't fight as good as they did before.

The size difference was huge and unfair, and still Fedor survived a full round fully mounted and pounded by Silva, and escaped two well performed submissions performed by a much stronger guy. Especially the knee bar, I've never seen anyone escape it like that once it's completed. Fedor was going to get in there and fight again if it wasn't stopped, but even he admitted that the fire was missing...

@leonharts Scott Coker cant hold a goddamn torch to Dana. Coker has done absolutely nothing to grow and promote the sport of MMA, while Dana and the UFC is the ONLY reason MMA is now close to the mainstream. They are breaking through markets and getting MMA sanctioned in states! While Coker is sitting back trying to cash on the UFC's success
