  • Thank you for posting this! Finally someone talks about this. I am a vegetarian and at the beginning I tried giving my dog fish-food,because I thought it might be better than all the chemicals they put in meat and so on..but then I realized he does need the taste. So I switched to an organic online dog food website. My dog has been always healthy, he doesn't have a smell, doesn't drop hair, or whatever the case may be. It's beautiful to see that you care about your dog as much as I do! Love&Light

  • My dog loves grapes and eats them all the time

  • I have been finding conflicting information about the safety of avocados. Many dog owners swear by them, but the ASPCA says that the fruit is toxic to many animals including cats and dogs and can result in poisoning. A few people online have reported diarrhea, vomiting and even death of their dogs after they ate avocado. Do you know of a safer alternative to replace the avocado that has similar health benefits? I want to try the smoothie, but not if it means potentially sending my dog to the ER.

  • Please confirm your information. Avocados and grapes are toxic to dogs and cats. Please do not follow this advise. I do read the Boutenko books and follow alot of their advise BUT THIS IS WRONG ADVISE FOR PETS!!!

  • DOGS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT AVACADOS, IT IS TOXIC TO THEM. NEITHER SHOULD THEY EAT GRAPES, TOXIC TO THEIR KIDNEYS, YOU NEED TO CHECK ON THESE THINGS! also, you are feeding kibbles, after you say they shouldn't eat them. They can eat raaw meat, not avacados.. NO GRAPES

  • just LOOK at that sweet girl nibbling those berries! beautiful. what testament.

  • Great Video I really enjoy it! Hope you enjoy ours…

  • Just make sure you do your research and don't feed fruits and veggies to your animals that could cause them harm...there are several fruits and veggies that could cause distress or even death in cats and dogs.

  • GRAPES can cause KIDNEY failure in dogs. as do raisin. Also onions are bad for them and chocolate.

The grapes are not deadly with one exposure, it can take 20 or 100 exposures to them. But who wants to gamble on how many! My 3 dogs and cat get some green smoothie , we share every morning.

  • You do realize that there are certain fruits and vegetables that can have detrimental effects on dogs and cats, right?

  • Awesome, never seen a dog eating Berries ;)

  • THIS is false DANGEROUS INFORMATION SOME FRUITS AND NUTS (MANY ACTUALLY) CAN KILL DOGS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU KILL INNOCENT DOGS LIVES.

  • @magicwestie And canned/dry dog food is actually good for dogs?

  • @bluesdog88 No but dogs are meant to eat raw meat not raw vegetables raw meat

  • @magicwestie That's fair, but I have owned 2 dogs that munched on grass a lot, I can see that some veg would be bad for them.

  • @magicwestie

In the wild carnivores would eat the stomach its contents of the animals they had just killed. Predigested greens and plenty of enzymes right there no carnivore could do well longterm on just meat.

Also organ meats, bone, bone marrow, something that is sadly lacking in ANY kibble formula....The Whole Dog Journal is a wonderful source on nutrition, petfoods and what is really in them

  • Question: What was the dog food you put the green smoothie in? Is there any kind better and where do you get it?

  • Thanks for the great video. I have been inspired to introduce the green smoothies to our dogs. Just a quick question or two. You mentioned that non pure bred dogs can be fed just about any fruit or green, but what about the purebreds? Why would they be different? Also what would the ultimate diet for the dogs be?

That was really cute seeing Bella eating the raspberries. But you might be sorry you taught her how to do that. You may never get a raspberry again.

  • Thanks Bro!

  • Bro, your films are awesome! You are getting better and better at them. Your older bro, Stephan.

  • I will eventually ween her off kibble or at least feed her organic, but since I just got her 5 days ago, I don't want to shock her by changing her diet too drastically!

  • @ramonalisa - just read your comment about your dog drinking your green smoothie. That is awsome! My two wont touch it, LOL.

  • Great! But I would switch the kibble to raw meat and bones. Chewing large bones is a party for a dog and an important part of their diet :) Great video, I think adding greens is great. One thing though...they will most likely never eat it alone. The base of the diet in my oppinion is meat and bones. Greens and even superfood is also super ;)

  • Great information, but I'm surprised to see you feeding your dog kibble and not a raw meat diet.

  • Lovely to see your dog chowing the berries too! And Brianas smiling face in the background made my day. Great vid guys! xx

  • awesome awesome! can you post more about raw food for dogs? what about meat? they're natural omnivores no? what kind of food do you feed your dogs??

  • Awesome....I have been giving my dog neeko, some of my green smoothie everyday...he likes it a lot but putting it on his food is a great idea. thanks for your fun videos. I love the raspberry nibble part...made me laugh out loud. Peace

  • Cute and Informative!!!
