@HMC200 The center main gear is only on the DC-10-30 and DC-10-40. The DC-10-10 and DC-10-15 (which is shown in the video) only have the main side gears.

Amazing landing. My only problem is the activation of the reverse thrusters with the nose gear that high, think logically. The force generated by the engines being pushed ahead of you is gonna push the nose to the ground if you aren't careful. Luckily, FS doesn't simulate this. Great landing still.

i once tried to take off [at KEDW] for a test with one engine power [tail engine/ #2 engine] i peeked at a maximum speed of 90 MPH ground speed i never got off the ground i had to use the overshot dirt runway to stop

oh no! i don't think that was a nice smooth landing because short before touchdown the airplane (DC-10 in this case) makes a little falling-down-to- ground.. that comes from the not-holding the elevator in the same position ... you left it get down a little bit! of someone does NOT understand my english pls excuse!

Microsoft Flight Simulator

That version here is Flight Simulator 2004.

The newest version is Flight Simulator X.

And if you do search on FSX to find out how good the quality is, you may believe 2004 is better. Well actually not. But many uploaded videoes are made by a pretty universal computer and bad quality. But Jon got addons and a big computer, thats why he can play like this. :)

That's pretty good. One flaw though, the number two engine does not go into reverse until the nose wheel is on the ground. You have it in reverse with the nose wheel off of the ground.

Incase U didn't know but! if you retract your flaps on landing the nose wil drop and

help increase your brakeing, so there will be hardly any need for reverse thrust.

Another amazing video my friend. I agree that the feel of FS9 is better, but saddly I have to go for the look of FSX. Don't have the money for such things like the scenery add-ons, AES programs, or payware aircraft.

Cat 1 2 3 do refer to the weather conditions, the visibility. Cat 3 = low visibility. You ve also got still cat 3 a, cat 3 b, cat 3 c.
