there is also the task of sending him for 10 ft. of flight line or looking for some fallopean tubing, we had a guy stand behind the engine a catch the comp wash water with a 10 gallon bucket. Didnt work out so well for him that day
We just got 9 new technicians and we're fully busy with jokes also. Like getting a bucket of steam to clean the windows, or reporting to the first officer how many inches of safety wire was needed on every day of the week...
I will remember this one with the echo test, and on monday i think i'll have some fun ;-)
HAHAHA!! I love it. I was the ndi guy who would do the serviceability check on the boots. If I was having a bad day I would attach 1577s and make them walk back to their shop barefoot. I got one of our new airmen with the echo check except I had them do it when the aircraft was in ISO dock. I felt kinda bad about that because she was really embarrassed.
Damn, those prop blades are looking real dirty. Ya gotta get those new guys out there with a big bucket of "prop wash" to clean them. If they can't find the bucket have them ask around the shop.
haha i was warned about the infamous echo check in tech school, but i was not told about getting steel toes NDIed, i walked all the way down the shop with red tags strapped to my feet haha
LONG TIME since I seen that trick pulled. Reminds me of the time we pulled it on a jeep on our Buff. Had him running from #8 engine intake to exhaust to catch that echo. My crew chief and I were laughing our sixes off in the recovery trailer watching. Great video.
we got a new engine guy that just got here to ramstein and a gacs guy out of tech school coming in december. i'll definetly try this or have them spin blades for a torqe ops check.
hahahahaha that must have been when he first got here hahahaha. fuck man. gotta get some new guys with it.

Some locations are not exactly the most conducive places to wear a US Military uniform..

And the gigantic military aircraft isn't going to give it away? usafvmi08's idea is much more likely...

I can't wait to get back and have new people to do this stuff to. Being enroute has its drawbacks.
