Thankfully this demo was upgraded before the final release. The final release was fantastic, this one left a lot to be desired.

Funny thing is, Alphaville's "Big In Japan" has the same beat structure as "The Safety Dance" even though it came out three years later.

Better the official one made in 1982, from their 1983 LP. That version will not be played in radio or been a hit.
