@polkafrenzy666 ? Learning songs by ear trains your ears. Running through various songs helps work on technique, dexterity, and figuring out keys/modes etc (figuring out exactly how the song was written and what was used theory wise).

I just decided to do random covers and put them on youtube when I picked up bass (alto sax is my main instrument). I did these for fun, nothing more. My current band isn't a cover band.

Yeah...I've been trying that, putting it everywhere in the video, all that, but no matter what I'm getting videos pulled down. If not the second they pull them down, it happens sometime later. I've had a few videos just taken down that I put up months ago. It's really getting ridiculous.
